The eastern Mediterranean will no longer be a place where Israeli naval forces can freely exercise their “bullying” practices against civilian vessels, a Turkish official said Friday.

The official said this would be the outcome of Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu’s statement earlier in the day that “Turkey would take every precaution it deems necessary for the safety of maritime navigation in the eastern Mediterranean.”

(...)

Using Turkish naval vessels to escort ships carrying aid to Palestine and observing free navigation in the zone between the island of Cyprus and Israel are among the plans set to be implemented, sources said, adding that Turkish war ships would be more frequently seen in the area.

Always funny when the smallest country in the region gets accused of bullying.

Must be embarrassing to be those big babies of the Muslim nations. LMAO.

Ankara also declared that it would take all necessary measures to guarantee the freedom of maritime movement in the eastern Mediterranean and announced that it would take the case of the Gaza blockade to the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

Until there is a court ruling, Turkish Navy will ensure safety of maritime traffic to Gaza.

Head them to Gaza then, if you have stones. :) I don't see any Turks coming. I see them asking for an apology. ;P

I mean they have to come first before Israel can respond.

:)

Israel correct to respond with more than 'measured response'
"Measured response" is the concept being promulgated by some well-meaning people pertaining to how Israel should react to missiles and mortars from Gaza.

I would not suggest blanket bombing, which we utilized against Germany in World War II. However, I believe that Israel should respond with more than sufficient force to compel Hamas to realize that it is too costly to launch missiles against Israel.

Coming and floating around in the neutral waters.

Israel's military blockade of Gaza is entirely compliant with international law given the savages in Gaza want to kill all Jews and Christians...

Allah, oh our Lord
Vanquish your enemies, enemies of the religion [Islam]
in all places
Allah, strike the Jews and their sympathizers,
the Christians and their supporters
the Communists and their adherents
Allah, count them and kill them to the last one,
and don't even leave even one.

Obviously we disagree.
The International Court of Justice will give a final ruling, which probably will take years to be spoken by the court.
Before the court-ruling, Palestine will declare its statehood among the nations of this world.
As such, the conditions like the UK PM speaks of can not continue anymore.

Besides the ICJ initiative there will also be International lawsuits to bring the Israeli terrorists that killed 9 people to justice.
In the meantime we will ensure, that there is no further piracy and terrorism against ships heading towards Gaza.

Our PM will also visit Gaza, and this is not the end of the story.
It is the beginning, and I hope, that our new friends in Cairo also will take some lessons from these developments.
But we don't really need them to isolate you, although they would be a great help.
