Mr. Lings book was published in the 1980s showing that some Muslims are still openly hateful of Blacks..."Sunni Man" is an Arab-American (American for sure, Arab I think) Muslim USMB member here who has openly expressed racism against Blacks...

The Chinese can be racist, they have a tendency to favor whiter skin. Their racism probably won't manifest itself in violence as much as other groups, but it's still there.
The Arab Muslim slave trade came before the Europeans and was far worse, yet we rarely hear about their atrocities. In fact the word black "abd" and slave in Arabic are the same. For example "Abdallah" a very common Muslim name, means slave to Allah.
Unless some religion specifically prescribes it, there's no such thing as a religion promoting racism, and I'm not aware of any that do teach it. What we have here is a thread based on a classic composition fallacy -- find some action committed by some member of some religion, and then extend that action to the religion itself as a causation, completely ignoring that individual people come with free will. Pretty much the same fallacy that tries to sell "honor killing" or female genital mutilation as having something to do with Islam. They don't.
As for racism, Islam officially proscribes that too:
All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves. --- Mohammed's last sermon
