He's doing this while so completely alienating our former friends and trading partners, and making America so unstable and untrustworthy, that the "reserve currency status" whispers are getting louder globally. Who's going to be on our side? Israel, I guess. Gee, that'll work.

The reserve currency changes did not start with Trump. You guys' love purchasing foreign made products and that is a major reason it is dropping. We have played games with our economic system and politics has played a role. A lot of intertwining factors with all of the gyrations caused by our government over many decades. China is ascending.

While I agree with much of your post, believing Don could be solely responsible for losing reserve currency status is a bit much. Lots of corrupt people hold responsibility for the destruction of the dollar. It’s been going for much of our lifetime.
