This guy could be a surprise spoiler against Donald Trump in the GOP. He's very conservative and charismatic. Rumor is growing that he's running in 2024:

South Carolina U.S. Sen. Tim Scott will headline an event for the Republican Party of Iowa next month, potentially fueling speculation that he has White House ambitions in 2024.

Scott will speak June 9 at a regional reception for the state party in Cedar Rapids along with Iowa's Republican U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst.

If Tim ran as V.P with Trump as the candidate, the W.H would be the GOP. I said that soon after Trump lost in 2020.

As the main candidate, he may not have the charisma to win the G.E. His policies and upbringing though provide for him major credibility with voters I am sure. The usual RINOs won't have a chance, that's almost certain, though the Dems policies appear to be extremely unpopular.
