Is this really what you voted for?

Maybe a trump voter could explain why increasing health insurance premiums and taking away coverage for millions is such a priority? Especially in light of there being no replacement plan for the ACA.

After Biden added $8.5 trillion to the debt, spending has to be cut.

Maybe they should keep using the profits from Obama's takeover of student loans?

/----/ "unjustified presence of troops on US city streets,"
Hell yeah, it's what I voted for.
I stopped reading at your first biased, slanted opinion piece. Who are you to say the troops are unjustified? Gov. Hochul sent troops into the NYC subway to control runaway crime, and it worked. President Trump sent troops into Washington DC to control crime, and it worked. He's sending troops to protect citizens because the Blue State governors and mayors refuse to fix the crime problem and deny what is going on. And you know the citizens of DC were thanking the troops for being there.

The National Guard has been deployed to cities in the United States for various reasons, including civil unrest, natural disasters, and to maintain order. Here is a list of instances where the National Guard has been deployed to cities:

There is a long history of democrat trouble makers.

And that has what to do with the loss of subsidies for people with ACA plans?
Most of the subsidies are for either illegals or non-permanent residents. The "Big Beautiful Bill," has already passed, this is only about a CR.

The right gave the left a CR when they had passed Biden's Green New Deal, but now they don't have the courtesy that the right gave to them.

It's a question that could be asked about a variety of issues from the unjustified presence of troops on US city streets, to crypto currency profiteering, to pardons of J6 violent criminals, the examples are too numerous to list. Here's one pertaining to the shutdown.

These 6 Charts Explain Why Democrats Shut Down the Government

All the political skirmishing around the looming government shutdown has obscured the critical reason for it in the first place: Republicans have essentially stopped saying they want to repeal Obamacare, but quietly, they are doing exactly that.

Over the past nine months, Republicans have gone a long way toward dismantling key Obamacare provisions under the misleading guise of reforming or improving our health care system. As a result, more than 20 million Americans face higher insurance premiums next year. And almost 14 million Americans could lose their health insurance altogether over the next decade — an estimated 3.3 million in 2026 alone.

That’s more than 70 percent of those who gained coverage since Obamacare went into effect.

You may be forgiven for missing this headline. There wasn’t one. In 2016, Donald Trump ran on a promise to abolish the program and kept up his crusade throughout his first term, only to have the effort deep-sixed by Senator John McCain. This time around, Mr. Trump has rarely — if ever — mentioned the Affordable Care Act by name. Nor have his fellow Republicans.

But they never stopped trying.

Obamacare was and is a disaster.

Honestly the Democrats should just let Trump kill insurance for 20 million voters.

They're thrilled. The more carnage, the better.

They're victims and they want revenge at any cost.

I don't think rest of us, across the political spectrum, have a full understanding of the rage under which these people are operating.

There is no carnage. Take a Midol and lay down for a while.

They do this shutdown shit every couple or three years. Life goes on each time. I can't believe people keep falling for this year after year after year after year after year................................

It’s what useful idiots do.

Listen to how fucked up Trump is in the head. He saw a fake AI news piece with his daughter in law and himself promoting Medbed and he didn't realize it was fake.

It's him promoting healthcare for all. But it's fake healthcare. Conspiracy theories. Medbed will make you younger. Cure any sickness you got. THIS IS WHAT TRUMP wants to give us all!

But meanwhile, in the real world, he doesn't want to give poor people healthcare. He's even making cuts to poor people's healthcare. He's willing to shut the government down over it. All while reposting a fake news story that showed him wanting to give healthcare to all Americans.

Republican voters, including a lot of people I love, are really ******* stupid/stubborn/brainwashed.

The Covid spending gravy train is over. It’s time to get a job and pay for your healthcare like everybody else.

Wait. I thought 0bamacare would get everybody insured. You mean it didn't? You mean 0bama lied? I thought 0bama said premiums would decrease $2400 per family? You mean they didn't? You mean 0bama lied?

We've lost trillions of dollars over this fiasco. Time to just end the whole thing and let the private sector do what it does best: Best coverage for the cheapest amount.

C'mon, it can't possibly be too complicated for you to understand what that means in a metaphorical and a real sense.
Trump put it into perfect perspective....Really, we knew lib democrats were cracked anyway, but geezuz christmas, by the millions too.

Obama care is a bottomless pit that will always need more money. Democrats demand illegals be put back on Medicaid, and NPR and PBS be funded. This is all about paying off their supporters. For this they shut down the government. Good luck defending that.

Doom and gloom its a disaster claims by democrats dont work anymore.
Why is creepaziod afraid to write a post

I suspect he knows that the Trumpsters who lose/can't afford their health insurance will blame Biden or Hillary or Soros or Hitler.

He knows his people.
I am running out of shits to give. You cant convince a drug addict to clean up and stop hurting themselves any more than you can convince a maga voter to stop hurting themselves. You have to let them go and let them hit rock bottom. I am ready to let them go.
