That would be another entire thread. For now, let’s just say I am choosing to cast my vote where the antisemitism is less pervasive, less dangerous, and less welcomed at the elected level.

I am focused right now on making sure the Democrat who attends Farrakhan rallies, promotes anti-Jew lies, and was re-elected to the DC Council does not win his race for DC mayor.

They are Democratic socialists who believe in free enterprise, private property and democracy. But they also believe that there should be a more equitable distribution of wealth. They are not Fidel Castro Socialists. They do not want to make the US into Venezuela

Socialism has a long and peoud history in this country starting with Teddy Roosevelt and the Progressive movement of the early 1900s . The early progressives were the first to come to believe that government could and should be used to make peoples lives better

We owe things like the 40 hour work week and labor unions to progressive socialists . We owe the end of child labor and sweat shops to them. Forcing industry to clean up water sources and produce safer consumer products are progressive socialist ideas.

He should be in prisn for many reason including thet fact that he sat on his fat ass for much of the first year of Covid, denying that it was serious and claiming that it would just go away. He complained that there was too much testing for it, which revealed higher numbers then he wanted. He didn't fast track the vaxx until he realized that he might not win re-election and even then he never really promoted it or encouraged safe behavior
