A wound can get infected if you don’t protect it, especially if it broke through the flesh deeper than an abrasion. It might need to be covered longer depending on the wound.

It seems that
1. Leftists somehow know how deep the wound is on Trumps ear
2. There aren’t many educated leftists on medical norms

I can see fanatics now getting their ears pierced and a split bullet being the earing.
