....or simply an on-coming locomotive?

1. I'm the President of the Pessimist Club, and believe tha the damage done by the Democrats is irreconcilable.
"Over the past several decades, the progressive Left has successfully fulfilled Antonio Gramsci’s famed admonition of a “long march through the institutions”. In almost every Western country, its adherents now dominate the education system, media, cultural institutions, and financial behemoths."

2. But I am also a student of history, and have seen that nothing lasts forever: note the span of the other socialist party that learned from the Democrats:
Nazi Germany, officially known as the German Reich from 1933 until 1943, and the Greater German Reich from 1943 to 1945, was the German state between 1933 and 1945, when Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party controlled the country, transforming it into a dictatorship.

4. "First the Supreme Court ruled six to three against the administration mandate that private businesses must mandate vaccines. Second, Senator Kyrsten Sinema repeated on the floor of the Senate roughly one hour before President Biden’s meeting with the Senate Democratic Conference, her long-standing opposition to any changes in the legislative filibuster.

That effectively rules out the Biden election takeover bill. Then, Save America. Kill the Bill. Senators Manchin and Sinema have refused to back down in their opposition to Mr. Biden’s big government socialist bill.

As his political agenda falls apart the President has become more vitriolic and insulting in various speeches. Virtually every sensible person in politics is attacking Mr. Biden's poisonous speech yesterday in Atlanta. The fallout from those poisonous words continues to spread today."

Wait till democrats pack the courts and overturn all this.

They talk about it all the time, just like FDR wanted to do.

But we all know that packing the courts is good cuz FDR was such a great president, at least to every Marxist college professor or Marxists journalist, he always sits atop the best of the best as US Presidents

Putting innocent Japanese American in concentration camps simply because of their genetics can be blamed on Trump, even though he was not born yet.

Chic. IT'S A LOT WORSE!!!!!!!!

"...Biden threw another temper tantrum about losing on the election takeover bill, but also adding this bizarre screeching about who counts the votes. Listen to this:

“We missed this time. We missed this time. The state legislative bodies continue to change the law not on who can vote, but who gets to count the vote. Count the vote. Count the vote. It’s about election subversion.”

By the way, the answer to who counts the votes is the Democrats who run the election day operations throughout America’s big cities. They’re the vote counters. Not Republicans."

"....we had another bad inflation number today with producer prices rising almost ten percent for the past year, following yesterday's seven percent jump in the Consumer Price Index. Real wages are falling while prices are spiking. We’re talking gasoline and grocery prices among many others.

All of which contributes to Mr. Biden’s remarkable unpopularity. His polls continue sharply downward. There is no change in sight. If he were a smart political operator like, say, President Clinton 25 years ago, he’d start firing his left-wing, woke senior staff and shift back toward the middle ground, where voters thought he’d land in the first place.

But no. President Biden wants to double down and triple down and throw temper tantrums and hissy fits, thereby blaming everyone and everything on the planet except his own tin ear politics."

Is it possible that after all the effort in co-opting the schools, media, legislatures, pop culture......

.....sane people are just plain fed up with the Nazis....er, Democrats/Progressives?????

NAZIS

well----stalinists----6 of one and half dozen t'other

One of their earliest lies is that Nazis and Bolsheviks are at the opposing ends of the political spectrum.

Of course, that is not possible as both stem from Karl Marx.....as does the Democrat Party's agenda.

a. "Hitler often stated that he learned much from reading Marx, and the whole of National Socialism is doctrinally based on Marxism." George Watson, Historian, Cambridge.

b. "Socialists in Germany were national socialists, communists were international socialists." Vladimir Bukovsky.

c. And the Nazis actually gave the Democrat Party credit for many of their doctrines.
  • Hitler lauded the Progressives’ immigration policies.

“By refusing immigration on principle to elements in poor health, by simply excluding certain racesfrom naturalization, it professes in slow beginnings a view which is peculiar to the folkish state concept.”
    “Mein Kampf,” chapter three

  • “Hitler also appealed to the racially exclusionary provisions of U.S. immigration laws, specifically the 1924 Immigration Act that had been pushed by American progressives as a model of enlightened eugenic legislation. “There is today one state,” Hitler noted, “in which at least weak beginning toward a better conception are noticeable. Of course it is not our German Republic but the American union. By refusing immigration on principle to elements in poor health, by simply excluding certain races from naturalization, it professes in slow beginnings a view which is peculiar to the Volkish state concept.” Dinesh D’Souza: What Hitler Learned from the Democrats

How about Franklin Roosevelt's attitude toward other races....?
"This attitude dovetails with what is known about FDR's views regarding immigrants in general and Asian immigrants in particular.... He recommended that future immigration should be limited to those who had "blood of the right sort." FDR's troubling view of Jews

    Sieg Heil, Franklin????

  • Know what else the Nazis learned from the Progressives/Democrats?

“…history of laws against miscegenation—interracial marriage or procreation—in the United States.

Under the influence of Darwinism, racial science and an associated eugenics movement emerged in the late nineteenth century, grew with the Progressive movement, peaked in the 1920s, and disappeared during World War II. (Its enthusiastic embrace by Hitler did not help it…” The Race Against Race

“The Germanic inhabitant of the American continent, who has remained racially pure and unmixed, rose to be master of the continent; he will remain the master as long as he does not fall a victim to defilement of the blood.”
    Adolph Hitler
    Untitled Document
“At Nuremberg, the Nazis sought to preserve Nordic racial purity by outlawing racial intermarriage with Jews in much the same manner that Democratic anti-miscegenation laws outlawed racial intermarriage with blacks.” Dinesh D’Souza: What Hitler Learned from the Democrats

Biden closes out Year 1 on an epic losing streak - Axios

Biden's epic failures

  • Rising anger among Black activists: Members of some civil-rights group refused to appear with Biden for his voting speech in Atlanta. New York Times columnist Charles Blow piled on: "Biden has been dillydallying on getting rid of the filibuster to protect voting rights for essentially his whole administration, until this week."
  • Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois, the Senate's No. 2 Democrat, distanced himself from some of Biden's rhetoric in Atlanta, where he invoked the Confederacy and Bull Connor. "Perhaps the President went a little too far," Durbin told CNN.
  • Most polls put Biden around 42-43% approval, with over 50% disapproval. In a Quinnipiac poll this week, Biden had a 33% approval. The White House calls that an "outlier."
  • The Supreme Court yesterday blocked Biden's vaccine-or-test mandate for large employers.
  • The Afghanistan pullout played out about as poorly as it could have.
  • Russia is messing with him: Biden's warnings haven't deterred Vladimir Putin from continuing to build toward a Ukraine invasion.
  • Inflation is soaring: It's the worst in 39 years.
  • Empty grocery shelves get network-news coverage. It's partly the weather, partly COVID, partly the supply chain — but makes a handy visual shorthand for national pessimism.
The bottom line: Build Back Better was supposed to be Biden's FDR moment. Voting rights could have been his LBJ moment. Instead, he's likely to end Year 1 with neither."

Axios is way Left.

Let's remember this when we read the posts of the Dozen Dumbest who are still supporting the Democrats.

Being an inveterte pessimist, it is far too early for me to sign on to the view from the OP, that we are heading toward better times.....

.....but, there is this:

"That is not to deny the progressives’ limited successes. It has certainly developed a remarkable ability to besmirch even the most respected institutions, including the US military. But that is where its achievements stop.

While the Pentagon’s top brass focused on “domestic terrorists” and a progressive social agenda, it calamitously bungled its withdrawal from Afghanistan and appears utterly unprepared for Chinese or Russian competitors. And the effect of this progressive march is plain to see: the percentage of Americans who feel “a great deal of trust and confidence in the military” has dropped in just three years to 45% from 70%."

Let's not forget that Biden is just another name for "the Democrat Party."

Perhaps President Biden is just another name for "the Democrat Party" but today he is one of Jeff Dunham's dummies and Dunham would be the far-left squad.

I believe it to be a mistake to play into the Democrat's plan by allowing all the blame to be assigned to Biden.
Then they can simply name another candidate god, or Jesus or the messiah, and those not paying attention might vote Democrat.

I posted this even before the election:

It's not Biden that's the problem.....

.....it is Democrat policies.

More lunacy.

Name a republican who is for passing the current voting rights legislation.
