On top of all of this, one thing that has also surprised me to the nth degree, is that those Americans that have achieved great success in life and are generally lauded and respected by Americans, have been debased and pissed-on by Trump supporters (across the board). To me, that means that having worked hard and having had the ability to reach one's goals in life has no importance to Trump supporters. That earning the respect and good treatment by Trump supporters, we all have to support Trump.............or otherwise we are garbage.

Is this (supporting one person and nothing else being important) what the American Dream has become (according to the Far Right)?

It favors no one, you can’t have a claim what you want but with all the celebs and endorsements that one side lost the election to a majority. This is why I am glad we live in a republic.
