It's because they have a gift that has nothing to do with politics. I would never name drop

First of all and if you read the OP the way it was written, all that I said and implied is that there are more of them (artists, singers, military leaders and ex-presidents) that support Trump than those that are for Trump.

Why did Trump win the election? It is because he got more votes. Why is he going to lose in the future? because the votes are turning against him.

On top of that, I mention these people specifically because they are well known. Most people will listen and pay attention to someone well known than to a stranger. For example, if you were in a room and debating with Taylor Swift, who would probably get believed more, her or you?

In addition, the question the OP makes is "why are there SO MANY more of these people against Trump than for Trump". After all, Trump is famous so why don't more of these people cater to him? It certainly would be of benefit to them (as far as Trump being on their side and helping their careers). Certainly, being against Trump and voicing their dislike, makes people like you go against them automatically.

Robert Redford was vocally against Trump and his goals, but so are a huge amount of people that have shown high talent, have accomplished major goals in life, and are generally not only respected but lauded by most Americans.

On the other side of the coin, the amount of talented and well-known singers/actors/military leaders/ex-presidents that have supported and lauded Trump, is a very small amount (less than 10).

On top of all of this, one thing that has also surprised me to the nth degree, is that those Americans that have achieved great success in life and are generally lauded and respected by Americans, have been debased and pissed-on by Trump supporters (across the board). To me, that means that having worked hard and having had the ability to reach one's goals in life has no importance to Trump supporters. That earning the respect and good treatment by Trump supporters, we all have to support Trump.............or otherwise we are garbage.

Is this (supporting one person and nothing else being important) what the American Dream has become (according to the Far Right)?

Who cares. Notice the one common theme among your Trump haters?

They are all pretty wealthy, and derive their wealth from maintaining the status quo.

Trump has been working on helping the poor and middle class.
