Why are so many officers being relieved from the positions of command and being forced to retire? Those who are speaking out – does not appear to be sour grapes – paint a picture of an effort to turn the military, traditionally rightist in viewpoint – to the left. I have seen others who have said that Obama is clearing the decks of all officers that don't toe his liberal/socialist agenda. Especially those that are not for women in combat or gays openly serving. The question of if they would fire on American Citizens if ordered seems to be a very important question.

i can't find any official list for bush or clinton.

The truth is I am not sure, but it is completely unprecedented.
I am sure it is a combination of retirement, incompetence and Admin pressure for change.
