Not sure. But if you want to make a positive change, and get better quality law enforcement it's worth the price. Imagine how many lawsuits, and payouts would be avoided...

most cops know what they can and cant do....paying more wont change much except there will be less cops...

Apparently there are plenty enough who don't know what they can, and can't do. That's why there are so many lawsuits resulting in huge payouts. Just having more cops isn't necessarily the answer. Having better cops could go a long way.

paying them more doesnt mean they will all be good cops...they deal with the worst people in society even a cop making a quarter mill a year can get pissed at the guy and do something wrong...
