Apparently nobody told Senator Rubio about President Obama's ongoing efforts to normalize relations with Cuba since, if they had, he wouldn't have been so "shocked" that the President didn't publicly lambast Fidel Castro postmortem since Fidel's little brother happens to be running Cuba at the moment, wouldn't exactly be an efficient way to further his stated policy aims.

BTW what does this have to do with Obama "going to Cuba to organize a funeral for Fidel Castro"? and where did President Nimrod ever say that Castro was his "hero"?

As much as I dislike Obama he's the one being the adult statesman in this instance. We're trying to open up the Cuban society so as to hopefully influence them towards a more democratic and capitalist friendly status, you don't do that with demonization and recriminations. Castro obviously was hated by many but also loved by many who are still alive and in positions of influence in Cuba, pissing them off slows down and can even reverse the small progress that has been made.
