I have no problem with illegals being deported. I have no problem with borders being secured.

But to ignore someone who could be saved if they get immediate care, to take care of someone who could wait, based solely on where the people were born, is inhumane.

I am not avoiding the premise at all. I am saying that emergency medical care is rendered in the way it should be. Namely based on the severity and urgency of the need. Perhaps if people went to primary care doctors for basic healthcare needs, instead of waiting until their fever was so high, the ERs would not be so full. The fact that you want to risk another human being dying, just so you don't have to wait, is kinda fucked up.

I call my primary care. Answering service has them call me back. They are familiar with "me" an individual patient, they have copies of every time I have been treated, every specialist and test, x-ray, MRI I have received, even having a copy of my military medical records, covering 20 years of every thing that came up, no matter when or what country I was in, before I started going to them and I used to sing in the church choir with the head doctor (we both sing bass, he just does it better and reads music faster). I avoid emergency room if at all possible. They can prescribe if necessary, the medication be picked up 24/7 and tell me what to do to manage fever for a few hours if necessary. They have admitting privileges and can get me or my wife (who sees a different doctor there) to a room in the hospital without the emergency room involvement if necessary. Doesn't everybody shop for doctors this way? I preached prior planning prevents piss poor performance, half my adult life.
Only time I end up in the ER is severe allergic reaction. If your heart is about to stop, the take care of you pretty quick no matter how many poor people have the sniffles. Just sayin...
