It is presented in Legacy media and academia as the highest of virtues. In fact, the gospel of democracy they preach seemingly makes society pure and righteous somehow. But is this accurate?

A pure direct democracy is considered an idealistic political system but in practice it's not. Here's a good example: Democratic People's Republic of Korea. It sure sounds nice and friendly, but it's not. It's North Korea. Korean Communists convinced its people that if they voted for them, the government would not only take care of them, but that they would have meat and rice twice a day. The people jumped on it and what they got was an authoritarian, tyrannical government that killed and starved millions. Every aspect of their lives is ruled by the government, via the gun. Every election, their fearless leader (the only allowed candidate) gets 100% of the vote and in the extremely rare instance that someone actually writes in a different person, that voter is rounded up and "disappeared."
Theocracies are no better. Take Iran's Islamic government for example. The Islamic Mullahs put forth the names of candidates, the Ayatollah looks over the candidates and eliminates all but the two he considers acceptable and they are put on the ballot for the people to choose from. Under Islam, women are considered second class citizens and even less in some of the Islamic nations.
A Constitutional Republic that is Capitalistic is the best way to go. You end up with a sizeable middle-class, innovation and stability (unless you get destabilizing elements within it, like Communism, Socialism, or Theocracies).

Because he gave his life trying to save the country from true fascism, in the form or the Left.

In true facsism form, you assassinated him.

The ultimate irony was, the shell casings used to murder him, the assassin wrote "Fascist" on them.
OK, so you attribute this action by the shooter upon me?

Your groups are guilty by a high percentage who think identical. after all, from your mouths all Republican voters are nazis and kkk members.

As most people know, "democracy" is simply a catch-all term that is used to describe the ability and authority of the people to vote for what they want. Yes, a "republic" is not the same. A "republic" is a form of democracy in which elected representatives are given the authority to exercise the power given to them by the vote.

So the term "democracy", when used in normal discussion by normal people, can certainly be interpreted as "republic" in context.

The troubling thing here is often the regular dishonest parsing of the term seems to always come from those Americans who prefer something closer to fascism than a democracy or a republic. It's almost as if they're trying to downplay or decay the legitimacy of the vote in favor of pure top-down control of the populace.

Winco, I can vouch you that you never killed Charlie Kirk. But so long as you support Democrats, others will accuse you since the killer was a devout Democrat.

I wish to be (I), and I despise all politicians.
When I was a director over two organizations, others and I added up who was for the membership vs who supported just the staff. 40 percent of us were all in for the members. I suspect that 40 percent of congress is purely for the public. Republicans in fact.

OK, so you got more on this KKK thought?
I got plenty.
The KKK is currently the Right Wing.

It must be a democratic republic. Democracy is just two wolves and a sheep voting on what’s for dinner.

Nouns and other words, human inventions, are nothing in themselves other than a verbal expression of human thoughts, concepts, ideas. As such, they are only "good" or "bad" in relation to human intent. "Democracy", as a development in human society, was a step toward advanced civilization and away from pure brute rule. The problem today is that, as with so many words and terms, it has been so bantered about and misused that the mere mention becomes a point of binary divergence. Democratic processes can be demeaned by simple association with the base word "democracy" that certain interests would tie only to negative connotations. Further, the political motivation to associate social and democratic movements to demented political ends such as Bolshevism or Nazism have torn discussion apart to such lengths that any conversation is immediately reduced to "my side" or "your side".
Human hearts hold the source of good or bad intentions. The human mind is the source of regulations on the heart's vulnerabilities. Consciousness would keep all this in check in persons of sound mind. Unfortunately, the world is infested with persons lacking essential primal parts of what make true human beings, and these people assume positions of power that condemn us all to suffering.
