Is A Re-Birth Of Religiosity Just Around The Corner?

No.

In fact, just the opposite with the emergence of AI.
In addition, the continued survival of mankind may depend on the dissolution of such unfounded faiths and beliefs in order to overcome the unnecessary conflicts that have plagued mankind from the beginning of religions.

Religion = Diversity.
We all are acutely aware of the perils of diversity at this point.

Should we start rounding the religious up and put them in camps? Or just gas them instead?

Stop brainwashing children, and all religions would become novelties. Scattered, small cults.
You do realize that according to the principles of natural selection if religion did not offer a functional advantage it would have died out long ago, right?

No, I dont agree, sorry.

I think it's a vestigial artifact of first, sentience, and second, a more primitive, more stupid time for our species.

Like wisdom teeth.

That was VERY Christian of you.
It's not my idea. That's the logical conclusion of your belief that... "the continued survival of mankind may depend on the dissolution of such unfounded faiths and beliefs in order to overcome the unnecessary conflicts that have plagued mankind from the beginning of religions."

If you really believed that is true then rounding up the religious and exterminating them would be the logical thing to do.

So maybe you don't really believe that and you are just spouting nonsense.

No it isn't. That's actually a fallacy called non sequitur.

**** , we REALLY need to start teaching basic logic in about the 4th grade. This is pathetic.

Should we start building camps for them? We can't have people having different beliefs, right?

The point several are trying to make clearly is going over your head.

Religious fanaticism has resulted in more human deaths and suffering than all human wars combined.
If that means nothing to you then you simply are not able to thrive beyond cult mentality it seems.

So from that you gathered that it absolutely inferred the need for violence to achieve that end?

Sad but telling.

Maybe you don't really believe that.

Do you believe the continued survival of mankind is at stake or not? Think about what you are saying. You are saying the survival of mankind depends on eliminating religion. The only way you are going to accomplish that is to kill every man, woman and child that is religious.

Non sequiturs dont have to "not make sense".

Extermination is extreme and not my implication at all. It is yours alone. Why is it that you see the only means of overcoming differences that result in human suffering is more human suffering?
