Is a Holocaust - Genocide happening in Gaza

The intent is the most difficult element to determine. To constitute genocide, there must be a proven intent on the part of perpetrators to physically destroy a national, ethnical, racial or religious group. Cultural destruction does not suffice, nor does an intention to simply disperse a group. It is this special intent, or dolus specialis, that makes the crime of genocide so unique. In addition, case law has associated intent with the existence of a State or organizational plan or policy, even if the definition of genocide in international law does not include that element.
Yes. So, clearly, very clearly, not a genocide in Gaza.

Fair enough, the courts have only issued arrest warrants for war crimes so far, they do grind pretty slowly, it's just the major world body that has found Israel to be committing genocide. The perpetrator and the enabler disagree. And random Serbs.

Funny that.

GENEVA – Israel has committed genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel said in a new report today. The Commission urges Israel and all States to fulfil their legal obligations under international law to end the genocide and punish those responsible for it.
[...]
Explicit statements by Israeli civilian and military authorities and the pattern of conduct of the Israeli security forces indicate that the genocidal acts were committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, Palestinians in the Gaza Strip as a group.

Mortimer's opinion:

No not like the Holocaust

Differences:

-The Holocaust was industrial large scale extermination because of suppossed racial otherness without any rockets or armed jews attacking the germans first or a war between jews and germans
-in israel arabs are not by law excluded from citizenship political participation and marriage with israelis (maybe there are some restrictions in religious marriage but so are in Islam, a muslima cannot marry a non muslim man) but its not racial if the hebrew is Christian there is no restrictions
- Israel warns civilians before they strike in Gaza the nazis never warned jews they did wanted to exterminate them

Etc Etc

So while the Israeli strikes are a excessive use of military force and should soften hardliners they are not a Holocaust
No it isnt happening and the Israelis have never done genocide on anyone.

I'll go easy on you. Show me one document saying the German gov wanted to exterminate Jews. Just one.
Marching millions of them into gas chambers doesn’t give you a clue?

First of all, you need to define "holocaust." There have been many holocausts in history, so there is no "The Holocaust."

Secondly, there are plenty of restrictions between Israeli Jews versus Israeli non-Jews. Some are de jure, while others are de facto.

Third, learn some syntax, punctuation, and grammar. Or, at least, use an internet assistant. Sheesh.

Prove it. And not with fallacies like appeals to popularity nor with lies.
Mass murder and starvation is genocide.

One would think Jews would know genocide when they see it.

Of course, you consider Palestinians rats and mice. So genocide doesn’t apply, in your evil mind.

I'm highlighting the part that pertains to this thread.

So why isn't the genocide ending? Why are parties not being punished for it? The answer is simple. The powers that be are not interested. To the victor go the spoils rings true here.

You repost this from the previous page i adressed this already but do you know that this the original arab slogan just not that state souveriegnity will be established but that there will be no jews does your micky mouse brain sees a differences?
Again, spelling counts. Syntax counts. It's your thread. Moderate it. Sheesh.

The term Holocaust refers, in ordinary use, to the Nazi extermination of the Jewish people (and others). The term was created, explicitly, to resonate with the gas chambers and the crematoria. When one says, "the Holocaust", no one is confused as to which event in history is being referred to.
Secondly, there are plenty of restrictions between Israeli Jews versus Israeli non-Jews. Some are de jure, while others are de facto.
Give some examples of de jure restrictions that explicitly refer to Israeli non-Jews.

I said "The Holocaust," not Holocaust. Try again.
