Iran unveils enormous supply of naval suicide drones in chilling footage from underground ‘missile city’

Iran’s military has shown off its enormous supply of naval suicide drones, which it is using to blockade the crucial Strait of Hormuz, in chilling footage taken from its underground “missile city.”
Footage from Iranian state media purportedly shows underground tunnels full of naval drones, anti-ship missiles, and sea mines, with dramatic footage also showing some of them being fired.
Experts have analyzed the footage, released by Iranian state media outlet Fars, telling CNN exactly what is being shown off.
The full terrifying array of armory on display includes:
- Abadil-2/3 “kamikaze” drones: Shown on rail launchers inside the tunnels, these are designed for deadly one-way strikes on ship sensors and superstructures.
- Shahed-136 drones: Primarily a land-attack drone, but naval versions shown inside the tunnels can be mounted on fast-attack craft or hidden launch racks to target coastal infrastructure and tankers.
- Zolfaqar drones: Small, explosive-laden autonomous boats designed to swarm larger naval vessels.
- Ghadir anti-ship cruise missiles (ASCM): Long-range cruise missiles with a 190-mile range, shown on mobile truck launchers inside the tunnels.

This is something we could push through on reconciliation...that doesn't require any change in rules.

How much stock should we put into anything the Iran military claims to have? These guys lie like crazy, no doubt they have some drones but maybe they might've over-estimated a little bit? In any case, we need to find the places where those things are stored and blow 'em up bigly. We can't have those a-holes holding the rest of the world hostage to the supply of oil.

I used to believe in Iranian or Hezbollah sleeper cells in the US but I don't anymore. If there were ever a time for the cells to become active in the US, it has been now. They shouldn't need communicated orders from Iran to become active. Their country is under massive attack. So, I don't believe there actually are sleeper cells in the US. I know this is wishful thinking, but maybe we don't see evidence of sleeper cells in the US is because the FBI and HS are finding them and stopping whatever they're doing before something blows up. There are periodic reported incidents of such that usually are ignored. And there are probably reasons for this: we are getting better at identifying such cells and preventing an attack, and also some of these cells made mistakes (bombs that didn't detonate).
You're right about one thing though, if those cells exist then now is the time to make some noise. Don't know if they require approval from their higher ups in Iran, so maybe it's a good thing that we are wiping out some of the higher military/terrorist echelon. And maybe some of the people in those cells have been somewhat Americanized or maybe not as supportive of the current regime. But also maybe some shit is about to hit the fan somewhere in the US.

I will add that, inside Iran, they have set up a system whereby cells in Iran can operate independently in case of attack by Israel or the US (or both) and that is what we have been seeing. We wiped out most of their communication abilities and yet these cells in Iran have been operating without communication or with limited communication anyway. I would think that if they had any sleeper cells in the US that they would have also set this system up and, even if they hadn't, the cells would become active anyway instead of watching what is happening and sitting on their asses waiting for communication from Iran.
However, I have read decades ago about all of the Hezbollah sleeper cells in the US just waiting for their marching orders and you may be right in that over the years they have become Americanized just enough where they are not completely on board with what had been their original objective. They may have come to the realization that any such action would merely be a suicide mission and that maybe, just maybe, living in the US might be better than prematurely meeting Allah, leaving my lone wolf theory possibly an accurate description of what they have become.
