An attack took place at the Supreme Court of Iran, where two senior judges, Ali Razini and Mohammad Moghiseh, were shot and killed.
The attack occurred inside the Palace of Justice in Tehran. Reports suggest a man armed with a knife entered the building, attacked a bodyguard, took their handgun, and then opened fire.

Perp ( who killed himself) was Identified as Farshad Asadi, a service worker at the court.
Most likely a planned assassination,
as Moghiseh judged trials of political prisoners & had been sanctioned by the US for human rights abuses. Razini had survived a previous assassination attempt in 1998.
Both Moghiseh and Razini were veteran justices who for decades headed courts involved in trying protesters, and activists. It's my opinion this isn't about hijab protesters like Mahsa Amini, because I think she was knocked off (beaten to death)before getting a trial, but perhaps the uprising that followed that case are the type of protester/ activist cases the judges oversaw.
