...'Insurrection' on J6 = the real deal ....

There was no revolt, rebellion, against the authority of the gov't. It was a 6-hour riot. There were no weapons and the only murder was that of an unarmed female trespasser--a misdemeanor at most. And STILL, you morons have yet to produce one charge of insurrection, let alone conviction. Maybe you should slither back under your rock, apparently that is where you've been.
Keep the LIE alive.

Yup, no charge of insurrection.
They went for and achieved Seditious Conspiracy instead.

LOOLLOOLLLOLLLL

I know it is a stretch, but do you know what the definition of CONSPIRACY is? You would do well to watch this video. I doubt that you will and doubt more that you would glean anything from it if you do, but here it is.

Yes there was.

They wanted to stop the Constitutional process of counting the electorial votes and when pence wouldn't do it they threatened to hang him.

There were organized groups, with weapons and a plan.

A charge of insurrection is not required for it to be an insurection. If that were true then their would not be such a thing as a successful insurection.

Schumer called for the assault on SCOTUS justices in CLEAR violation of the law. Seems you assign felony charges to trespassing while you excuse a true felony by a sitting senator. BTW, not one rioter entered the chamber where the count was being certified. I anxiously await your typical "bbbut, bbbut, bbbbut"

What does all that have to do with the definition of insurrection?

As much as a charge of seditious conspiracy does. I am sure that a large portion of the left is guilty of that charge. A drunken discussion over thier merlot about how terrible the SCOTUS is and how the left can overthrow it is a SEDITIOUS CONSPIRACY. Have you found a case where insurrection has been charged yet? Nope. Run along then. You're rantings of insurrection are just so much noise.

No, it is not.

Again, a charge is not required.

Only in your addled mind. BTW, yes the left is guilty of seditious conspiracy. When Piglosi, Schiff and Nadler conspired to remove a sitting president with bogus charges of Russian collusion in an election, that was SEDITIOUS CONSPIRACY. When you get beyond third grade, you will learn that words have accepted meanings in society and they can't be bent to how you choose. Biology is kind of like that too--you know male and female? Leftist SCOTUS justices don't seem to be able to grasp that either.

Then take them to court counselor. I am sure they will be astounded at the case you make.

Biology? Like the party that voted for George Santos?

That is exactly the reason why there was no charge of insurrection. In answer to ^^. Hide and watch--there's a new sheriff in town.

I rest my case. SMFH. You are incapable of remaining on topic. I'd direct you to that tremendous educational prowess that you have shown throughout the thread. "bbut, bbut, bbut" BTW, are you from NYC? If not, you don't have a thing to say about Santos, just like me. He's not my rep. It is up to the voters in his district to remove him--that is how elections work, were you unaware?

A charge of insurrection is not required for it to be an expert an insurrection.

Not from New York myself...never even been their, but when it comes to crossdressing Congress people, Repubs know how to pick them.

NYC. Try again. Hahaha, can you say that with a straight face with the likes of Fetterman being elected? Joe Biden? Kamala Harris? Yep, you know how to pick 'em.

How were the events of Jan 6th an "insurrection", and the riots of the previous summer NOT insurrections? Because the rioters in Washington didn't throw Molotov cocktails? Because they didn't loot any stores?

And if occupying a Capitol because you don't like how the elected representatives might vote, what should we think about the occupation of the Wisconsin State Capitol in 2011:

Despite the attack being regarded as unprecedented across the world, it is almost identical to the Wisconsin riots.

Unionists stormed the building, breaking down doors and crawling through windows, on a hunt for Republican lawmakers.

Protestors took physical occupation of the building and even established a fully functioning community inside - complete with a sleeping area, an information center and a medic station.

Similar to the events of January 6, lawmakers were ushered to safety by police - but a Democrat alerted the mob, creating a stand-off in the secret tunnel.

Senators were forced to hide under stairwells until police managed to form a human wall to escort them to the safety of a bus, which then had its windows smashed by the mob who started rocking the bus."
[ Pelosi slammed as hypocrite for praising storming of Capitol building in 2011 ]

There are indeed crazies on the Right, and some of them were in Washington two years ago. And there are crazies on the Left, and they went into action in 2011:

In April, Katherine R. Windels, aged 26, from Cross Plains, Wisconsin was charged with two felonies for allegedly sending death-threat emails to Republican state Senators.

FBI agents from Maine to California to Florida were involved regarding 100 pages of public records that were released, which detailed the emotions and threats that occurred during the protests. One man tweeted that he prayed an anvil would fall from the sky onto Walker. A suspect in Maine was arrested after sending letters to that state's Republican U.S. senators suggesting Walker should be killed and that all
Republican governors resign. A Burbank, California resident who sent a long email offering a $50,000 bounty for Walker was interviewed by federal agents who determined he was mentally challenged and not a true threat. Police in Nebraska tracked down a man who posted to a Wisconsin man's Facebook page that he expected the shooting to start soon and that he would be ready to inflict nonlethal shots so others could hear screams. He told officers he got "carried away", hadn't intend to harm anyone and has never been to Wisconsin. "

Answer: these are the good rioters in Wisconsin, supported by Nancy Pelosi.

Those J6 Jackasses continue to see accountability levied for the jackassery at the Capitol.
For example, this was reported today:

"Man who drove stun gun into Officer Fanone's neck to plead guilty
On Jan. 6, prosecutors say Daniel Rodriguez, of Panorama City, California, repeatedly drove a stun gun into the base of former DC Police Officer Mike Fanone's neck after another man, Albuquerque Cosper Head, dragged the officer into the mob. Head and a third man, Kyle Young, of Iowa, have already pleaded guilty and each been sentenced to more than seven years in prison.
Rodriguez was set to begin trial later this month on a slew of felony charges. Instead, he's now scheduled to enter a guilty plea on Feb. 14."

They'll have some company.
A person prosecutors described as a supporter of anti-fascist groups was sentenced Thursday to four years in prison for being involved in a string of attacks in January 2021 during a San Diego rally organized by supporters of then-President Trump.

Nikki Hubbard, 38, pleaded guilty Sept. 28 in San Diego Superior Court to conspiracy to riot, unlawful use of pepper spray and assault, and she agreed to the four-year term.

Hubbard, who is a transgender woman, has also used the name Nikki Yach. She is identified in court records by another name that the San Diego Union-Tribune is not using in this story because it is not used by Hubbard.

Hubbard also was sentenced in a separate case to eight months in custody after admitting that in October 2020 she violated a law that prohibits felons from entering the grounds of a state prison without the warden’s consent.

She received credit for a year and nine months in custody.

Hubbard was one of 11 defendants indicted in June on 29 felony charges, including conspiracy to riot and assault-related charges. Prosecutors alleged that the defendants — whom they described as “Antifa supporters” — came from the Los Angeles area and across San Diego County to counter the pro-Trump “Patriot March” in Pacific Beach on Jan. 9, 2021.

The defendants, dressed in black, with their faces covered, engaged in various attacks, according to prosecutors. Some of the victims were pepper-sprayed. One was assaulted with a stun gun. Another was attacke[d with a flag pole and wooden lawn chair.

MINNEAPOLIS (CBS Chicago/CBS Minnesota) -- A downstate Illinois man has been sentenced to nearly nine years in prison for setting a cellphone store on fire in Minneapolis during the unrest following the murder of George Floyd by police there.

The same man, Matthew Lee Rupert, 29, was arrested in Chicago and accused of trying to cause further "damage" shortly afterward.

Court documents said on May 28, 2020, Rupert – of Galesburg – posted messages on his Facebook account referencing the protest that happened following the murder of George Floyd by Officer Derek Chauvin. One of them said, "I'm going to Minneapolis tomorrow who coming only goons I'm renting hotel rooms," prosecutors said.

The following day, Rupert broadcast a video on Facebook Live from Minneapolis, in which he announced he had come to that city to "riot" and was seen handing out artillery-shell fireworks while calling for violence against police and for actively looting and damaging property, prosecutors said.

The video also shows Rupert asking for lighter fluid and then going into a boarded-up Sprint store on Nicollet Avenue in Minneapolis – where he knocked over several boxes and piled them onto the floor, doused them with lighter fluid, and directed someone else to set them on fire. The fire seriously damaged the building, prosecutors said.

After federal prosecutors requested a less harsh sentence for a man in Minneapolis who set a pawn shop afire during the George Floyd riots in 2020, causing one man to die, the fire-setter escaped a murder charge.

“Montez Terriel Lee, 26, pleaded guilty to a single count of arson and was sentenced earlier this month to 10 years in federal prison — much less than the 16 1/2 to 20-year punishment outlined in the sentencing guidelines,” The Washington Examiner noted.

On May 28, 2020, Lee, wearing a mask, burned down the Max It Pawn Shop. Video showed him dousing the store by pouring liquid out from a metal container, then later holding up his fist as the person videotaping him says, “Oh s***, you really did it!”

A second video showed Lee standing in front of the burning pawnshop as someone asks him, “What you do, Tez?” Lee chortles, “F*** this place. We’re going to burn this b**** down!”

The prosecutor’s sentencing documents state, “On June 5, 2020, a man named Oscar Lee Stewart, 30, was reported missing to the Burnsville Police Department by his mother. Mr. Stewart’s mother reported that she had not seen her son since May 28, 2020. Investigators learned that Mr. Stewart’s vehicle had been found near the Max It Pawn. On July 20, 2020, authorities located Mr. Stewart’s body in the rubble of the Max It Pawn.

Savage Man Sentenced To More Than 6 Years In Prison For Arson Of Dakota County Government Building

United States Attorney Erica H. MacDonald today announced the sentencing of FORNANDOUS CORTEZ HENDERSON, 33, to 78 months in prison for aiding and abetting arson. HENDERSON who plead guilty on August 26, 2020, was sentenced today by Judge Susan Richard Nelson, in U.S. District Court, in St. Paul, Minnesota.

According to HENDERSON’s guilty plea and documents filed with the court, HENDERSON and GARRETT PATRICK ZIEGLER[1] (co-defendant) constructed multiple Molotov cocktails. In the early morning hours of May 29, 2020, HENDERSON and the co-defendant went to the Dakota County Western Service Center (the ''WSC") located at 14955 Galaxie Avenue in Apple Valley, Minnesota. The WSC houses state and local agencies and organizations, including Dakota County court facilities, as well as a U.S. Passport center. HENDERSON admitted in his guilty plea that he chose the WSC as a target for this arson because he had previously made court appearances at that building and because he was angry with law enforcement regarding the recent death of George Floyd. Using baseball bats, HENDERSON and the co-defendant broke multiple windows at the WSC and threw in multiple, lit Molotov cocktails. Some of these devices successfully ignited and caused fire damage to the WSC. The attacked caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage.
