While I don't believe in God, I like the idea just fine. If ever there's scientific proof I'll be in church (or whatever) along with everyone else. But personal beliefs, or disbeliefs shouldn't prevent us from respecting other people whose beliefs may differ from our own. Whether because we fear the Lord or not, being polite, courteous, and respectful of others should always be a part of our interactions.
