Ugh, you can’t even read statistics right. 71% of single mothers receive SNAP or TANF. That’s not the same as 71% of people on SNAP or TANF is a single mother.The link said that 71% of those receiving welfare is a single mother, and there are millions of them. Stop pretending that single mothers on public assistance, who would get a job of the welfare wasn’t available, is such a rare thing.

There are nearly 10 million illegal immigrants working some pretty difficult and often somewhat skilled jobs all over the country, especially rural communities. The idea that you can just plug single mothers into these jobs is just absurd if you stop to think about it for more than a few minutes. And that’s if you can ever figure out how many don’t have jobs, because the vast majority do.
