Iran’s Choice of Leader Signals Defiance as War Rattles Markets
Top clerics selected Mojtaba Khamenei to succeed his slain father, despite President Trump’s warning that he was “unacceptable.” Oil prices surged to their highest levels since the pandemic, reflecting growing alarm over a prolonged war.I'm shocked, shocked I say that Iran didn't do as Don told them to. As, apparently, Don must be. Are they not paying attention? How dare they! After all, god saved him from that bullet so he could rule the world..........or at least the US. Ooooops, wrong god.
trump must be incredulous over the snub. He's accustomed to being able to convince his followers of almost anything. Like the other day, he said, "If oil goes up, oil goes up." And it has, gasoline along with it.
U.S. Gasoline Prices, Rising Again, Are Now Up 17% Since Conflict Started
The price of gasoline in the United States jumped again on Monday as the war in the Middle East entered its 10th day.The average price of U.S. gasoline reached $3.48 a gallon, according to data from the AAA motor club. That is a nearly 17 percent increase since the first U.S.-Israeli attacks on Iran on Feb. 28. Gas hasn’t been at these levels since 2024.
The price of oil jumped above $100 on Monday after attacks intensified, and Iran said it was firing more missiles toward Israel in response to expanding U.S.-Israeli attacks.
The suddenly rising energy costs — everything from jet fuel to diesel for trucks and tractors is more expensive — are rooted in the supply of crude oil coming from the Persian Gulf. The tankers that normally carry oil out of the region are not sailing, cutting the world off from about one-fifth of its oil supply.
He doesn't mind energy prices are soaring and he expects other people not to mind either. IS THAT UNDERSTOOD?
"Short term oil prices, which will drop rapidly when the destruction of the Iran nuclear threat is over, is a very small price to pay for U.S.A., and World, Safety and Peace. ONLY FOOLS WOULD THINK DIFFERENTLY! President DJT."
US President Donald Trump says oil price spike on Iran war a ‘small price to pay’ | FXStreet
US President Donald Trump said that the rise in oil prices is a "very small price to pay" for defeating Iran and to ensure world peace, the Telegraph reported on Sunday.
Wait. I thought the nuclear threat had been annihilated last summer? Oh well, never mind that. That was then. This is now. Now Don has told you what to think. He has told you if you don't agree with him then you're a fool. And of course no one wants to be a fool. Therefore, being upset about paying more at the pump, or the billions spent to get essentially the same leadership of Iran as they had, or the confusion about why we needed to take out the nuclear program we already took out, or the fact that there was no imminent threat to the US, or wondering what the ******* plan is now, none of that is allowed. Or you're a fool. Don has decreed it.
