My doctor is a woman and I love seeing her. When they start poking and prodding all over your body, it's just more soothing when a woman does it. When a guy starts touching you, a defensive thought enters your head even though you know they don't mean nothing by it.

Medical schools seek to train docs to serve the underserved. As the pandemic showed, blacks are still distrustful. And first generation hispanics provide language challenges. Obamacare created more need of primary care docs
