In spite of Trump's efforts, 92% of new generation in the US last year was solar.

Solar and wind, the quickest to install, the least costly to build and maintain, racked up 92% of new generation in the US last year. And now battery storage has also plunged in price, and is considered an essential part of solar installations.

"For all the turbulence in Washington, the capacity figures tell a different story. Let me start with the numbers that clean energy analysts highlight: During a year full of headline grabbing destruction of U.S. clean energy policy, renewables still led new power additions, a trend detailed in an assessment that begins, “Let’s start with the numbers,” and notes that During Trump’s latest push against climate policy, renewables still expanded. One analysis of grid data found that 92% of all new electricity capacity added in the US was solar, with Trump’s efforts to slow the sector only making it more expensive for America to cling to older fuels."

Proves nothing. Why would there be much new coal or gas generation when we already have all we need? We are running on it right now. It stands to reason that if someone is building new power generation, it would be in some green technology.

It's true, stupid government mandates and hundreds of billions in tax dollars caused stupid solar facilities to be built.

That's likely true because real power generation (coal, nuke, NG) takes years to build-out due to enviro-weenie lawsuits and odious regulations.

Duh !
With several coal fueled power plants across the nation shut down, no longer generating electricity; and almost all new generating systems being solar and wind; then the claim is self-fulfilling and distorting at the same time.

Total overall electric generation is still declining because more capacity has been removed~shut-down and newly built capacity has yet to full replace what was lost.

So are you;
ignorant
stupid
or intentionally distorting and dis-informing ???

Trump hasnt been president that long. Wind turbines have been canceled all over the country. Those still working will be trash in less than 10 years. States with the most wind and solar have the highest energy costs. In 4 years we will be nuclear and fossil fuels with renewables in decline. It takes time to fix a mistake

Yes, I imagine reality isn't useful to somebody that denies science for political reasons.
Even more so for one who doesn't know science as well as they think, and then distorts what little they try to present (As you will notice when you gaze into the mirror.).

BTW, you still fail at showing us your bona fides on the topics of sciences.

If something I've said is inaccurate, demonstrate it. I can source any claim I've made. Call my bluff.

Then go back and show your sources for all your posts.

You have made claims but failed to prove them accurate or even near so. On top of failure to footnote/cite sources.

BTW, I've presented a couple that were more objective and accurate, but since they didn't match your disinformation/pravda, you reject them.
No surprise since you are on a political agenda and not a science/information one. As demonstrated by others who've countered your absurdities.

Speaking of "bluff"; anyone who does this with regard to their "Profile" portion of their user ID page, when one clicks their "About"; hints strongly at being a troll and a phony.;

Obviously you are hiding something and faking much.

If anything I said was actually wrong you'd be trying to declare victory with it already. Everything I've said can be sourced and is backed by science. I'm not spending 10 hours going back over every post, and you know that's a ridiculous request, which is exactly why you made it.

If you were an honest skeptic you'd have specific claims you want sourced. You won't get specific though, because you're not an honest skeptic. You're an ideologue that's been backed into a corner with real information and has no options left except to call the information fake and avoid specifics.

So you'll troll, lie, and make as much noise as you can, because this was never actually about science for you.

Spoken like a true fraud and faker who can't support his lies.
Double speak mumble-jumble pseudo-science talk isn't "real information".
You're a waste of not only my time, but that of most others here.

My purpose isn't to declare a "win" or "victory" (only a child playing games such as you would focus on that).
My purpose, and that of a few others, has been to counter your distortions, disinformation, misrepresentations, and delusions.

When congress passes laws that give billions in subsidies to companies who build solar and wind that don’t actually contribute to the grid … who WOULDN’T build all they could get away with.

It’s a better racket than Somali day care.

This is exactly the pattern I pointed out earlier. When pressed for specifics, you retreat into credential theater and vague accusations. You still haven’t identified a single statement I made that is factually wrong. Not one. That’s because you can’t. If you could, you’d quote it, cite a paper, and end this instantly. Instead you keep saying “distortions” and “delusions” without ever naming any.

Demanding somebody cite an entire thread retroactively is a ridiculous request, obviously. I’ve made precise, falsifiable statements about glaciation timing, plate motion rates, greenhouse physics, and observational data. You’ve responded with rhetoric about fraud and politics. That’s not skepticism, it’s evasion. The person relying on vibes instead of measurements is you, and the longer you avoid specifics, the more obvious that becomes.

Meanwhile, Reality;

THE ENERGY DEPARTMENT MITIGATED BLACKOUTS DURING THE WINTER ENERGY EMERGENCY

“We will not allow reckless energy subtraction policies and bureaucratic red tape to put American lives at risk. These orders will mitigate blackouts and help restore affordable and reliable electricity, so American families thrive and America’s manufacturing industries can once again boom.” - U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright
...

  • COMPARING WINTER STORM FERN TO URI: Winter Storm Fern was more severe and impacted more American than Texas’ Winter Storm Uri in 2021, yet fewer people lost power during Fern. While more than 4.5 million people in Texas lost power after renewable generation failed in Winter Storm Uri, approximately a million lost their power in Winter Storm Fern.
  • Thanks to President Trump’s leadership, the Energy Department issued 39 total emergency orders and extensions, including 20 to keep reliable power online and secure the U.S. energy grid to mitigate blackouts and save lives during Winter Storm Fern and the prolonged cold snap in Florida.
    • In one week, DOE issued fifteen orders and five extensions. The average time for issuing these orders was just under 5 hours and one was issued in under 3 hours.
  • At the end of the Biden Administration, the planned forced closures of coal and natural gas plants had the United States on track to experience 100 times more blackouts by 2030. Thankfully, President Trump is reversing those dangerous policies.

IIRC, Natural Gas reserves are not as much in volume as coal reserves, so "clean coal" will still have value.

I gave the source you requested in the other thread. Any others you'd like to see?

Which thread ?
I'm requesting plural, as for all your statements you want us to take as fact when not documented/proven.
