When you don't hear what you like and start having a cult eye twitch, just replace the comments with something more self soothing. That's what smart people do.

Right, I don't like higher gas prices. The voters will soon let the dems know how they like them.

You're embarrassing yourself.

High gas prices came about because of pent up demand, supply chain issues, and the war of aggression in Europe.

And they are exacerbated by the quite capitalistic idea of futures trading.

That is only ONE example. The NET result of government intervention is a decline in human rights.
I have no problem with government doing what's RIGHT. But gun grabbing for example is tyranny.

Intervening in religion and parental rights is tryranny.....and the list goes on.
You need to stop that talk. "government intervention"? You have to be specific on a subject like that.

It's like what republicans do with "regulations". Which ones? But in the 2000's, all regulations were bad. But when you looked closely, Republicans were eliminating important/necessary regulations that were put in place for a good reason. But it was getting in the way of profits for their constituents/lobbyists. Look at Tom Delay. He got into politics because the government shut his business down. He was selling a dangerous pesticide! His business needed to be shut down!

Republicans say communism and socialism sucks. At what point do we admit poorly regulated free market crony capitalism doesn't work either. Remove money from politics.

And let's not forget the rich are not complaining. How can they when they've never been richer? They pay low taxes now.

And if all this bad shit was happening and Trump was president, Republicans would be defending Trump. Bottom line is, if you want abortion to remain legal, don't vote GOP. If you like your social security and want it when you retire, don't vote GOP. And if you don't want Trump appointing yes men the next time he's in power, vote Democratic. We see in Republican primaries all the election deniers are winning. Trumpies are taking over the party. This is how the Nazi's came into power. The German economy was in a recession.

Me and 68.1% of the country.
Wow! That's almost up there with the percentage that believes Kanye West is a fine musician. But far short of the number who think a virgin gave birth to a magical zombie king. And still short of the trump peak that fell off a cliff after his lard ass was thrown out of office. You should be very proud of yourself, nonetheless!

We just voted to crackdown on price gouging at gas stations and every single republican voted no.

The Consumer Fuel Price Gouging Prevention Act would give the President the power to issue an Energy Emergency Declaration that would make it unlawful to increase gasoline and home energy fuel prices in an excessive or exploitative manner.

A bill to help against Price Gouging and corporations cutting the "little guy" by messing with oil and gas prices in the country was voted "Nay" by every House GOP member.

These are the same folks who go to any camera they can find and complain about gas prices. Thoughts?

EDIT: Full Bill (thanks to Kosh)

Of course.
The Republicans thrive on a strategy of allowing excessive and exploitative practices as a matter of course. It appeases their money while allowing them to bash their opponents. Their constituency is either too cynical or too stupid to care.
