Immigration, legal and not, is not the problem some are making it out to be

The doors have been opened for more than twenty years and both parties are complicit. Trump failed. Who can deny that.
Nobody is perfect. Biden is a huge FAILURE. Stop defending the failure please. This is a simple problem. Wall the border and guards with machine guns help secure it.

I agree, he has badly fumbled it (and Harris is a joke) - but tbe problem goes beyond him and no president has been able to fix so WHY IS NO ONE pressuring Congress to fix our antiquated laws? Nothing is going to change otherwise, it’s been punted long enough!
Look at your stop signs. Those are also antiquated. Does that mean we need new laws saying stop? The laws are fine. Enforce them.

Hold on…why have stop signs…surely the system we used before was perfectly fine…why do need to change anything?

But we did.

Trump is at fault you say? Well for your information, it is Biden who opened up the doors wide open. And I am interested in you proving tha Trump slowed legal immigration down. Can you be brave and do that?
Trump signed hundreds of executive orders to slow down legal immigration. That's why you love him so much.

coyote its called being a leader......why doesnt he make some noise?.....why doesnt he tell congress, not ask them nicely.....TELL THOSE inept asswipes to start doing something about it...biden hides behind good news like if some jobs are created.....you dont see him talk about the negative....

As of 2021, the U.S. population was 332 million. Estimates are that there are 11.5 million undocumented people living here, so that is only 3.5%.

The problem is thinking that is a problem, let alone believing it is a crisis of some kind.

We have a historically low unemployment rate currently 3.7%, so the undocumented are not only not the problem, we need them here.

Immigrants are the folks who had the gumption to take the risk to leave society's they were familiar with to resettle in strange surroundings and they typically thrive. These are the people you should want to be here with lower crime rates than native born Americans and hard workers.

We should process work permits for those who are here and hire more immigration court staff to rapidly process asylum claims.

Stop making the undocumented, who the vast majority of which are good decent people, live in limbo so the wealthy can profit from their cheap labor.
LOL Send your suggestions to blue city mayors. Spending tens of billions/year to take care of these "good decent people" is putting a crimp on their style.

You would be correct if the US was a bottomless pool of money and resources. It is not. Secondly along with the workers pouring in, there are sex traffickers and drug smugglers whose favorite is a little pill called Fentanyl that is essentially a fast acting poison that just last year KILLED 75,000 Americans of all ages, races and socio-economic status.
All you need is the precursors and a good chemist to cook up fentanyl. The raw chemicals come mainly from China and Biden has been pressing China to crack down on their end.

Biden didn’t open the doors, he just hasn’t fixed the problem, because ultimately it’s up Congress,

Clear up 2 things. They took actions and not used executive orders. I do not love Trump at all.

President Donald Trump has had a singular focus on restricting immigration, and his administration has issued more than 400 executive actions that have reshaped the U.S. immigration system. Yet for all its efforts, the administration’s success in actually reducing the number of legal immigrants admitted to the United States has been notably limited. The overall number of admissions—both on a permanent and temporary basis—declined only somewhat during most of the Trump years, remaining largely in line with broader trends that predated it. This changed with the COVID-19 pandemic, which brought about a dramatic reduction in immigration unlike anything seen in years.

That is the long term solution, but we have a short term (as in right in our face) disaster that is getting worse by the day. We need to bring all guns to bear to do damage control at our border NOW. CBP is literally at a breaking point, there are a hundred Americans a day dying of Fentanyl POISONING (not OD). Not to mention the potential for disease outbreaks and God forbid a terrorist posing as an innocent immigrant takes down a plane.
