Last night, and just by accident, I got to see an amazing visual treat. ‘Losing Ground’ Meditates on Art as It Examines a Marriage in Peril ‘Losing Ground’ Meditates on Art as It Examines a Marriage in Peril (Published 2016) Kathleen Collins’s 1982 drama is an examination of a husband and wife at odds, as well as a meditation on art and philosophy. www.nytimes.com The acting is forgettable, the dialog mediocre..... .....but each scene is a feast for the eyes. The colors and the geometry are stunning.......that pic from the NYTimes review gives a tiny taste of what the director did. Worth seeing, even with the sound off.
