How does everyone like paying CHILD SUPPORT for children of illegal alien foreign nationals from foreign countries?

I say we cut off Foreign Aid to those countries since their people are already here being fed, housed and clothed.

We need to cut off any Federal funding to any cities or states that harbor illegal aliens and while were at take away any Federal funding and tax breaks to churches and non-profit organizations that are harboring illegal aliens. This Anti-American crud has to STOP!

The illegal aliens can come the right way or don't come at all! It's not fair to the immigrants that have come the legal way.

New immigrants that legally migrate to American fill out proper paper work, pay fees and wait in line for their turn to become an American citizen. Why should we let a bunch of border jumpers cut in line and ruin our economy!

My point is he contradicts himself. He blames poor education and specifically states that the burden on the social infrastructure is not a primary factor. He follows this by naming programs that ARE part and parcel to the social infrastructure that are the most affected.

The fact is, the overburdening of our social infrastructure is the PRIMARY cause of damage illegals do to this nation.

I'm be curious to know how many of you anti-illegal immigration types actually live in border states that are directly affected by illegal immigration. Anyone want to 'fess up?

It's to the point that my niece's kindergarten class in Shelbyville, Tennessee has a fulltime translator. Now Shelbyville is a little bitty country town with about 16,000 residents. It's also home to a Tyson plant. Murfreesboro Rd. and the Antioch area of Nashville now resemble Tiajuana and construction jobs that used to start at $11 - $12 dollars an hour in 1985 now start at $7.50.

I live in Washington state. We give illegals driver's licenses and in-state college tuition, over the past 10 years we've been inundated with them. Add the legal immigrants and we have real problems. Heck we have public housing buildings put up that you can't get into unless you're a Russian, we have other ones where you have to be hispanic. We don't have any for just American citizens. None, ziltch, nada, at least not in the city of Federal Way.

were provided to households with an illegal alien parent for the use of his
or her citizen child. This amount accounted for about 3 percent of AFDC

and 2 percent of Food Stamp benefit costs. A vast majority of the
households receiving these benefits resided in a few states—85 percent of
the AFDC households were in California, New York, Texas, and Arizona; 81
percent of Food Stamp households were in California, Texas, and Arizona.

perpetrated by illegal aliens receiving benefits on behalf of their citizen

illegal aliens and for the general welfare population. In these studies, one
of the most commonly cited types of misrepresentation or fraud was the
underreporting of income. Income is a key factor in determining program
eligibility and benefit amounts and, when underreported, can result in
overpayment of benefits. The states we visited had procedures in place to
verify income; however, officials said that verifying individuals’ income
from earnings obtained through the underground economy was very
difficult—for both illegal aliens and citizens—in part because these
earnings are not documented or reported to state or federal databases
used to verify employment and earnings.

I live in San Antonio, Texas and probably see more illegals every day that you have in your life. I see what they do and I know how they live, and I know what their impact is on where and how *I* live. I don't need to regurgitate talking points from some OP while sitting in Bumfuck, Maine with no real clue as to what's going.

i go with the latter...i pointed out a contradiction with one of his op in a thread and his brilliant response...."mere technicality" or something to that like that...

He's got a following. I have no problem with that. I have no problem with his stance on illegal immigration.

I have a problem with people claiming they believe in something yet can't say what it is nor why.

I caught the contradiction in his first post on the first read. Yet he posted it. IMO, if I thought an argument was important enough to consume a majority of my time, I wouldn't be presenting questionable articles or articles that made those on my side of the argument look dumb.

That mistake in the original article is 3rd grade level.
