Natural Gas is Methane. Methane (8x worse than CO2) is also a 'snowballer' as as it gets warmer the earth and ocean floors release yet more.

CO2 is the byproduct of burning FFs and we know it's warming the planet.
That's what the IPCC, Paris accords, and mileage and emission standards are all about.
