The theoretical surface temperature increase for a doubling of CO2 is 1C. That's it. When the northern hemisphere deglaciates the planet warms like it is doing today. The present climate is 2C colder than the previous interglacial which had 26 ft higher seas but 120 ppm less atmospheric CO2.

Scientists learned that in the Arctic there are massive bursts of Methane amounting to millions of tons released studies proved. In fact natural Methane emissions reaches up to 280 million tons per year as scientists report.
