I can't speak for any Democrat but I do understand their desire to deal with the specific problem and not treat all undocumented immigrants the same way. If only Congress wasn't so divided by partisanship they could have solved that s in an ethical and legal manner. Despite what trump thinks most of the immigrants are hard-working good people who don't break the law. But this is the shit that happens when the extremists are running the show. No room for sanity and compromise.

That is absolutely NOT true. You obviously don't know the law. An immigrant can cross the border at any point IF they are seeking asylum. That is the law. No one can make the determination that their crossing is illegal except a judge. When that is done they are taken away and sent to their own country. Officially we have no illegal immigrants in this country. You can believe anything you want but it's best when it is real and reflects the laws of the country.
