If You Could Block Classic Rock From Playing One Artist For An Entire Year, Who Would It Be?

No doubt it would be Tom Petty.

Boring!
.

Probably the only thing I ever liked of Petty's was the Traveling Wilburys' "End Of The Line".

Maybe also his version of "I Won't Back Down".

.

I don't mind Bruce Springsteens music as long as I don't have to watch him..........he always makes a face like he's trying to take a shit while constipated.

For me, it's Bruce Springsteen.....By a mile.

I'd sooner listen to Neil Young songs back to back than one Bruce Springsteen song. ;)
Pink Floyd. Still love them, but "Classic Rock" stations play them to death.

Bay City Rollers, It is the Band entire stadiums of people walked out on. I agree on Neil Young, I like his songs just not him singing them . Add Bob Dylan as well.

What..........you don't like S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y.????????

Meh, the song had a good beat at the time it came out.......but didn't take long to wear on the nerves

.

Yeah, I think it was Revolution. I never heard it because I couldn't afford to get a backward playing record player.

.

You mean you didn't turn the record backwards with your hand??? With a little practice you could get the speed just right..

The Wilburys are a different thing altogether.

Pettys music is like listening to an unbalanced Washing machine. It just drones on and on and on until the song mercilessly ends.

That was led zepplin stairway to heaven

Did a search, and there were several songs that had backmasking done.........Stairway to Heaven (yes), as well as Revolution and I'm so Tired by the Beatles, Another One Bites the Dust by Queen and others.

Go fuck yourself.

Hmmmm... most of who I thought of have already been mentioned. I've detested Springsteen every minute I've known about him. Neil Young, Dylan- yuck.

I adore Tom Petty though.

Bay City Rollers were never really big enough to annoy seriously. Like the pet rock fad.

Queen.
Never really liked them, and could actually drive my car into a cement barrier rather than listen to the radio play Bohemian Rhapsody again 5 times a day.
Bruce Springsteen is definitely a good choice.

I will also add any Aerosmith after Toys in the Attic.
