Peter Cetera wrote their biggest hits so he actually helped the band achieve greater success.

Chicago was better when they were a Rock Band before they tried to focus on pop music. It eventually led to Peter going solo and the band breaking up.

Same thing led to the demise of The Police.
They had so much good music the radio never plays anymore. Just Roxanne over and over.

That's the problem with today's Classic Rock stations. The same three hits by every artist repeatedly several times a day.
Pretty much why I stream my own playlist now and ignore the airwaves altogether.

What's really ruining them for me is the cheap ripoff of their music and other classic rock in pharmaceutical commercials.
