But anyway, as you well know covid caused a decrease in consumption, which causes a decrease in inflation. Now why did inflation increase? When Covid came off its highs and people could go about their business, consumption increased while the supply chain could not keep up, thus demand outweighed supply, causing a temporary uptick in inflation. Notice I did not blame one single person or President, because only an absolute idiot would blame one person for this anomaly.

Actually, even WHEN he's convicted, it won't take him off the ballot. In 1920s, Eugene Debbs went to jail for pointing out World War I was a terrible idea, but he was still the Socialist Party's candidate. It's unlikely Trump will go to prison for this, at least not right away.

A conviction SHOULD give the GOP pause, that this guy is never going to not break the rules, and is going to keep damaging their party, but they aren't smart enough to do that.

Considering the first trial and convictions will probably be done by a
state, there will be no pardon given.

With things as bad as they are, give him a 24 month incarceration and he really can't logistically be president. You can't run a nation from inside a state prison. The other Mafia Dons have tried and miserably failed.
