If Trump Becomes a Lame Duck...?

Here in America, new Presidents don't imprison or execute their predecessors. Trump didn't do anything about Obama, and Obama didn't turn Dubya to the persecutors in the Hague as libs wanted.

What makes you think that Biden would break tradition if elected? After all, he will be leaving office too at some point in the future.
That’s really too bad. O should have taken out W. Don should have taken out O. Then Joe takes out Don.

We’d be a better country if this happened. They all criminals after all.

Actually, there were plenty of witnesses in the Fake impeachment Trial. Vindman, Taylor and Kent, among others.
Impeachment trials take place in the Senate.
The witnesses you mentioned testified in the House inquiry in spite of Don the Con ordering them to stay quiet.
The Senate called no witnesses and said nothing about Don the Con's blanket refusal to answer subpoenas.
All that ends when he's FLUSHED from DC next November.

The witnesses I mentioned testified fully in the House , but had NOTHING incriminating to say about their President.

Sure, they were butt hurt that they were kept out of the loop and they did speculate as to what President Trump may have thought based upon the gossip they had heard. But gossip isn't testimony, and hearsay isn't admissible and their opinions are irrelevant.

I can't really blame any of them, they were useless and they knew it. What good is an "advisor" who is cut off from all information?

1. I like to think that the majority of the American people do NOT want former President Trump arrested. Most decent people -- IMHO -- despise kicking someone who is already on the ground.
Do you think Trump is above the law?
Can you explain why he should be exempt from prosecution for the same criminal enterprise that sent Michael Cohen to prison?

Why no hush-money charges against Trump? Feds are silent

Extortion, bribery and obstruction of justice weren't alleged in the Articles of Impeachment at all. "Abuse of Power" was, but that isn't a crime at all, much less a "high crime
There's no shortage of legitimate reason to impeach Trump: He's the most corrupt POTUS in history.

Nader and Constitutional Scholars Push for 12 Articles of Impeachment | Ralph Nader

"Uniquely among wayward presidents, Mr. Trump is shattering our entire constitutional order as our proposed twelve (12) count Article of Impeachment documents . (See enclosure).

"Several of the counts are per se impeachable and need no more fact-finding: defiance of congressional subpoenas and oversight; spending billions of dollars on a southern border wall not appropriated for that purpose; continuing or expanding presidential wars not declared by Congress; exercising line-item veto power; flouting the Emoluments Clause; and, playing prosecutor, judge, jury, and executioner to kill any person on the planet based on secret, unsubstantiated information. Hearings to educate the public about the alarming consequences of such per se violations is imperative to fortify the full constitutional legitimacy of the impeachment charges."

If Trump loses, you'll see a shitload of money taken out of banks and the market. If Trump loses it's basically over.

The quid-pro-quo is glaringly obvious to all but Trump supporters:

The Trump–Ukraine Transcript Contains Evidence of a Quid Pro Quo | National Review

"In the next paragraph, Zelensky responds with the key ask.

"He wants more Javelin missiles, an indispensable weapon system in Ukraine’s conflict with Russia. It’s an anti-tank missile that helps address the yawning power imbalance between the two countries.

"It doesn’t level the playing field, but it does help deter Russian aggression by raising the possibility of substantial armor losses on the battlefield.

"And what is Trump’s response? The next words out of his mouth are, 'I would like you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it.'

"He raises Crowdstrike, the firm the DNC used to investigate the Russian election hacks. From context, it seems as if Trump is asking for additional assistance in investigating the 2016 election-interference scandals."

It's CLEAR to see how far the Right wing has fallen when the easily accept such an unethical plan as to have Trump resign, just so Pence can pardon him. Pardon him for what? For crimes? To accept the pardon, Trump has to ADMIT he is a CRIMINAL and committed crimes!

I guess the right wing would be okay with that?

Oh how the Party of Law and Order has now fallen to the Party of Crime and No Punishment.

There's still plenty of time for Joe Biden to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory; however, if Trump loses in November, do you have any thoughts on his possible actions over the following 80 days?

For example, would he resign two or three days before Biden's inauguration in order for President Pence to issue a pardon?

If not, how would a malignant sociopath, who went to the movies the same night his brother went to the hospital and died, react to the possibility of sharing the same fate as his friend Jeffery Epstein?

Donald Trump 'went to see movie instead of brother as he died alone in hospital'
What on earth makes you think Trump needs a pardon? :cuckoo:

He spied on his parties biggest opponent in the next election.

Same criminal enterprise??? Trump had nothing to do with phony taxi medallions.

President Trump wasn't charged with anything in regards to this. Further President Zelensky denied being pressured at all into doing anything.
