$70K a year?

They fire nuclear technicians but hire musicians?

Can two men do it alone?

There is always a Rhino in the GOP in Congress to put the breaks on substantive change that is needed.

We even saw this from Trump's appointed SCOTUS member, you know, that Amy girl who stopped Trump from dealing with the massive spending problem.
Well the blob ran up $8T in new debt last time. This time he has help!

The argument is that perhaps it could be done cheaper without affecting the social programs except to remove corruption and stealing. Saving what you call Democracy is important, for there are no shortage of sadists who if they come to power with their henchmen will crush skulls and kill with impunity with the help of foolish citizens. For now, they are held back.

If it was done cheaper there is no reason to raise the debt limit.

We are stuck with arcane rules and legislation passed in the past. We are currently having naval shipbuilding people from South Korea here to talk to our military procedures for building naval ships. We cost up to a few times more to build comparable ships. We need to lower costs. And the pie in the sky military/industrial complex needs to move somewhat to common sense.

So the answer is to allow the South Koreans supply our military? Really?

They are here to give us advice on how to streamline building these vessels. Not to supply it. And if we do not change up, we will continue our decline with the Chinese building naval vessels much more cheaply and out producing us by a factor of a few to several times more each year. China is a contained massive naval power that is becoming a global one. If Japan and South Korea ever align with China, we are so screwed.

We can do anything as good or better than anyone. All we have to do is remove the greed and graft.
