They do if they are real liberals, if not, then there is no liberalism at play...

It's not just in the streets. Liberals at universities routinely ban and censor conservative speech. Then there was the Georgia teacher who kicked some kids out of her class for wearing a MAGA shirt. Intolerant liberals like her are pervasive in education. Facebook, Twitter and other social media routinely black conservative speech while allowing ISIS and Jung-un to operate unabated. Message boards operated by liberals frequently ban conservatives and/or have different rules for people depending on their political ideology. The American left does NOT support free speech.

When I was in college they banned many things about speech, but it wasn't liberals doing it...I myself as a liberal have never tried to ban anything about people expressing themselves..I believe wholeheartedly in free speech..That is liberalism...What you have here is some militant political movement of autonomous self-styled anti-fascists that oppose fascism by direct action... ..Hence they are not liberals-duh..They are misguided political lunatics that like you, don't know what fascism really is...

There are differing definitions of fascism. What many of your fellow Hillary voters believe is that, if one is nationalistic, you know, putting the interests of their citizens first, they're fascist. Lots of people around the world have been nationalist. There is nothing wrong with being nationalist.

Violently suppressing the expression of others was and remains a tactic of fascists, which many of your fellow Hillary voters apparently are.

I voted for Trump, I hate Hillary and lived in NW Arkanslaw during their time in the govs. mansion...The idea was that in Arkanass during that time, the locals and the state did what they wanted and if you said anything against it you were given a choice, shut up or leave...I lived in Benton county, a pure GOP county that is still a GOP county, just like the place I live now, in McDonald county, Mizzouri...And these folks have no problems making life rough if you don't like the way things are run..

Unfortunately, banning and censoring speech has become part and parcel for much of the American left. American universities, social media, etc. I think it's more likely that, in the some in the future, America will draft laws banning "hate speech" as they have done in Canada and parts of Europe.

I think being a liberterian sort of means accepting the view that, your right to be you includes my right to be free from you. I think supposedly free people should be able to ingest anything they want. I think they should be able to gamble. I believe they should be able to pay for sex. When I was growing up in OKC the christians would burn albums and protest against rock concerts, and Monty Python's Life of Brian..In the 1960's it was very structured on christian values and you would be condemned and blacklisted if they thought you were not in the grove...Then the 1970's rolled around and things became a little more loser in society and the old hangups and button down Manhatten style died out only to revive itself in the 1980's...Siloam Springs Arkanass has the most churches per capita in the US...And from that city to where I live it's full of Mormons and Seventh Day Adventist and Church of Christ people that hold on to old biblical ways. The women have to swim in full clothing...My cousin's have no TV's or stereos because evil emanates from those devices and Pokemon posses children because they are demonic characters..
