christians "PROVE" by citing the New Testament. Neither of them would accept a citation of the Mishnah or the scholarly writings of jews as "sources" anymore than you would consider a Superman Comic to be a credible source

Well, to be fair, there are many Jews who do not believe in Gd. But they’re still Jewish.

That’s a very different take than from what I believe Christianity requires: to believe that Jesus rose from the dead because he is Gd’s son.

My big picture take on the Christian faith is that Christians believe God so loved his creatures that he chose to be born into this world to testify to the truth and suffer death to reconcile justice with mercy.

Another person pretending to have a Super-Natural-0-Meter in their hip pocket? This type of algorithm formula simply does not exist.......never has. If it does exist use it to explain the source of energy that created the universe.......supposedly. Where did this energy come from.......energy cannot be created or destroyed? The laws of physics themselves prove that the universe is slowly dying.......thus it was never eternal, nor did it create itself from nothing. Something superior to nature clearly is responsible for creating the subatomic matter that makes up the Universe. Again, if not simply use science and quantify the creation of the physical universe...........the origin of biological life (no theories which are nothing but IDEAS that do not have the supporting evidences to make them FACTS of SCIENCE.) There is no LAW OF EVOLUTION.

How can you attempt to apply the natural laws of physics to SUPER (superior) Natural (to nature) events? Some events in the Holy Scriptures are called supernatural for a reason........they are beyond any quantification (measured comprehension) by natural laws. You can no more prove that Mary's pregnancy did not take place than the next man can prove that it did. Thus, the reason that Prima Facie evidence must be considered to find TRUTH. The Holy Scriptures contain over 95% text that can be measured and applied against the sciences of archaeology and history actual (recorded history)......where and when (over 95% content) the scriptures can be measured against the laws of physics, THE HOLY SCRIPTURES HAVE NEVER BEEN BROKEN (John 10:35) or proven to be false.

Why would any logical and reasonable person accept the 95% and reject the faith that the other (supernatural eyewitness events 2 Peter 1:16) are truth also? Until someone can objectively prove the Holy scriptures wrong...........the prima facie stands as truth. Just like all the men and women on death row who have been convicted by prima facie evidences (truth as it appears but can't be 100% proven). Eyewitness accounts stand as truth until broken by objective, repeatable and conclusive evidences.
