Zone1 If Jesus Was A Jew

Once you accept the Jewish view, then you can understand why the text of Lev was given to Jews as distinct from other groups.
The reason given was don't do as they did in Egypt. There is nothing special about your people other than they had an oral tradition.

and you don't understand some very basic ideas. So your assessment of me is useless.
No, my assessment is based on the fact that you are arguing there are multiple standards when it comes to homosexuality despite what is written BY YOUR PEOPLE in the Noahide laws which contradicts what you are saying.

The reason you are a moron is because you dismissed your defeat and ignored your incongruity.

and that oral tradition is what you are relying on when you invoke the Noachide laws. You knew that, right?

No, actually I was referring to the thousands of years the allegorical accounts of Genesis was passed on orally.

But please do tell me how that pertains to the Noahide laws saying they are universal regardless of who we are or from where we come as you argue they are not universal.

Show me. Or will you rely on Jewish teaching, which also teaches that there are different standards for different groups?
The reason you are a moron is because you dismissed your defeat and ignored your incongruity.
You are just jealous that I know what I'm talking about.

so you see it as allegory? Therefore, no laws can be taken literally?

I just said that they ARE universal. Try to keep up.

Please do show me where there are different standards for men lying with men like women.

If you knew what you were talking about you would have never said men lying with men like women is a standard that only applies to Jewish males.

I just said that they ARE universal. Try to keep up.
I am keeping up. It's you that is lagging behind. You said Leviticus 18:22 only applied to Jewish males but now say the Noahide laws - which includes the command against men lying with men as women - are universal.

Your second statement contradicts your first statement.

so you see it as allegory? Therefore, no laws can be taken literally?
The allegorical accounts of Genesis are the first eleven chapters, dummy. Which laws do you think were included in that?

Please do show me where there are different standards for men lying with men like women.
The different standards are one for men and a different one for women. There are different standards for Jewish males and no-Jewish males.
If you knew what you were talking about you would have never said men lying with men like women is a standard that only applies to Jewish males.
the verse in Lev 18:22 applies only to Jewish males. You don't have to like it.

No. It applies to everyone. Just because Jewish men said it, does not mean they own it. Maybe read the Noahide laws?

The 7 Noahide Laws are rules that all of us must keep, regardless of who we are or from where we come. Without these seven things, it would be impossible for humanity to live together in harmony.

  1. Do not profane G‑d’s Oneness in any way.
Acknowledge that there is a single G‑d who cares about what we are doing and desires that we take care of His world.
  2. Do not curse your Creator.
No matter how angry you may be, do not take it out verbally against your Creator.
  3. Do not murder.
The value of human life cannot be measured. To destroy a single human life is to destroy the entire world—because, for that person, the world has ceased to exist. It follows that by sustaining a single human life, you are sustaining an entire universe.
  4. Do not eat a limb of a still-living animal.
Respect the life of all G‑d’s creatures. As intelligent beings, we have a duty not to cause undue pain to other creatures.
  5. Do not steal.
Whatever benefits you receive in this world, make sure that none of them are at the unfair expense of someone else.
  6. Harness and channel the human libido.
Incest, adultery, and homosexual relations are forbidden.
The family unit is the foundation of human society. Sexuality is the fountain of life and so nothing is more holy than the sexual act. So, too, when abused, nothing can be more debasing and destructive to the human being.
  7. Establish courts of law and ensure justice in our world.
With every small act of justice, we are restoring harmony to our world, synchronizing it with a supernal order. That is why we must keep the laws established by our government for the country’s stability and harmony.

Maybe you should study the laws a bit more. Can you show me where they are in the text -- not just the verses, but the actual laws.

Why? Do they allow for exceptions for men butt ******* men?

Why not just show me the exception for men butt ******* men?
I didn't say there was an exception. That was your concern. I'm asking you to show me the law.

These laws are critical but I think they are far too narrow. The 613 Mizvot are what I try to keep but that's as an aside.

I do have a question about #7 though and always have because I do not know of a way in which an individual can create a court system on their own to fulfill this law.

In Ontario, we are one of the most corrupt jurisdictions in the West. Which is consistent with Canada as a whole as we are a nation lacking in character. In fact, men who try to be Mensches are destroyed. Men like Trump would have long been destroyed. Men like Elon or Vivek would have enjoyed a nice career working in some mid-sized companies warehouse. I digress, but only slightly.

Therefore, if a court/justice system is already established by the province, but it becomes corrupt and dishonest as it is here. Who pays for this sin? In Ontario today a person is not given due process and the courts and legal system is poorly funded.

If you find the answer for this I would like to read it.

I don't think that one was for an individual but for a society of people.
