By revealing the deeper implications of the Law Jesus exposed the so called religious authorities who pranced around like stars in the sky as actors and lying frauds who were intentionally keeping the laity in the dark so they could lead smooth easy lives off their backs.

Mathew certainly was, as was Mark, who some claim represent Peter's views, Luke was a follower of Paul, a Pharisee,, and John's gospel clearly shows a familiarity with Jewish theology no pagan outsider would know. Christianity is a Jewish sect, a reform one that rejects the post-Ezra modifications and the Temple cult; whether or not Jews and Christian like it or not is pretty much a moot point, like people who argue over Star Trek stuff.

Later, after their Revolt failed, they remaining Pharisees invented 'rabbinical Judaism', another 'master race' cult, using the 'Oral Torah' unrelated to the the real Torah as well.

What is modern 'Judaism' is actually older than Christianity and just as fictional as the Temple 'Judaism'. They have nothing to do with the OT and the Pentateuch outside of some public lip service.
