Careful there. No doubt we agree that DaVinci's Mona Lisa belongs in a museum.

Because of the skill and beauty.

Not a good comparison for a piece of terrible literature of cobbled together mythology. As far as literature goes, the Bible is... not good.

The Mona Lisa is a beautiful painting that oozes skill; the Bible in compariaon is a 5 year old's drawing made with fingerpaints.

If there were no magical threat and promise in the Bible regarding living forever, you likely never would have heard of it or read it, outside of an ancient religious studies class.

That's it. It's just a cheap extortion plan. Kind of like the urgent facebook and AM radio ads that tell you have to keep from dying by taking some "medicine" that actually does nothing.
