If Freedom Of Religion Includes Islam Then Why Doesn't The Pledge Of Allegiance Mention It

I don't agree with Judaism but that's a true religion. Exactly the same thing with Buddhism, but Islam is about abusing women and children and murdering anybody who doesn't follow it. That's not a religion, that's a cult.

At their core, they're all cults.

Under God was added to the pledge in the 1950s

Had nothing to do with our founding
Right. And it was added by Christian white nationalists who were in the final stages of the battle against giving full rights to brown people and females.

Their Alamo argument was that subjugation brown people and women was as god intended.

So this was a propaganda move by them to work on the minds of children.

You are thinking of the Pledge of Allegiance.

The US Constitution doesn't mention Christianity or include the word 'God'.
"Seventeenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven"

How did Christ feel about capital punishment? Murder is murder and state sponsored murder is still murder.
He did not feel good about it since he was murdered on the cross.

I don't mind calling capital punishment murder. Because it is right. It murders those who murder.
There are exceptions such as Patrick Murphy sentenced to death in Texas. He was one of the famous Texas 7. He was parked in a car when one of the 7 murdered a cop. Texas law is strange.

Interesting how they left in “with liberty and justice for all” in the middle of a segregated America.

You mean the slaves that Democrats owned. Democrats needed slaves so the Feds did not want to remove it at the time. Washington had slaves. Jefferson had slaves. So, it was against their will to stop slavery. Slaves got the benefit of living on fine farms and ranches where they had food, subsistence and housing supplied as part of their job requirements.

How slaves lived in Africa

Nigerian journalist and novelist Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani writes that one of her ancestors sold slaves, but argues that he should not be judged by today's standards or values.

Short presentational grey line

My great-grandfather, Nwaubani Ogogo Oriaku, was what I prefer to call a businessman, from the Igbo ethnic group of south-eastern Nigeria. He dealt in a number of goods, including tobacco and palm produce. He also sold human beings.

"He had agents who captured slaves from different places and brought them to him," my father told me.

Nwaubani Ogogo's slaves were sold through the ports of Calabar and Bonny in the south of what is today known as Nigeria.

Because saying, "for all white men" would have forced them to have the conversation in real terms, instead of in coded messages meant for people who already agreed with them.

What is Constitution day?

I'll take "Dates in US History" for $1000, Ken.
"The US Constitution doesn't mention Christianity or include the word 'God'."

Perhaps you should have studied more rather than watching TV.

My earlier statement is correct. The fact that the calendar uses the birth of Jesus as year 1 is not a mention of Christianity.

Also, technically that is a reference to Jesus, not God, ya damned trinitarian! :auiqs.jpg:

LOL You might have penned the new definition example for cognitive dissonance.

Slavery at the time was totally acceptable. George Washington and Thomas Jefferson and 12 owned slaves in all. So at the time it was respectable.
