So why are they not showing video footage of the men coming out of the sewer? It seems odd there's no mention of trying to contact the men, or asking for the publics help to identify them.

Yeah, what's to worry about in NYC? Relax people and go about your business, they were probably just having a monthly satanic meeting down there.

Maybe they were down there looking for Carl Kolchak. No wait--- that was Chicago.

Jackasses never thought to design a manhole cover that would need a key right? Just lift it up and climb in. Brilliant. Because that is how stupid we are, after all, who would want to climb down into the sewer system? Except, half the city's infrastructure including vital infrastructure, utilities and communication are all down there.

No worries. They probably only went down this time to size up the situation, access to vital buildings and areas, etc., and to give a dry run so when nothing is found, next time authorities get a call on sewer dwellers at 3AM, the authorities just write it off as a hoax---

Oh no. To anyone who really knows what they are doing, much worse than mere bombs are a possibility. The sky's the limit once you gain access to the sewer underworld of NYC, where the guts of the city lay bare because the jackasses of the city never dreamed anyone would think to just lift up a manhole cover and climb down into the sewers...

To where one can easily gain access to areas of the city tightly guarded from public access just a few feet away above ground.

The problem with sanity is that sane people are just so danged predictable...

I don't know whether it was a storm sewer or sanitary sewer. They didn't say.
