If Freedom Of Religion Includes Islam Then Why Doesn't The Pledge Of Allegiance Mention It

The 1st Amendment also give you a right to your opinion and the 1.4 billion people who practice the Islamic religion the right to do so, as long as they also adhere to our laws when they are in the US.

.

So then they basically can't practice Islam then anyways because everything or nearly everything that they believe and do is against the law.

That is how you interpret your religion. The puritans clearly didn't believe that as they burned many women at the stake for witchcraft. The prohibition of Murder is the prime tenet of most religions, but more people have died in the name of religion than for any other cause.

I honestly don't know what you're talking about because it sure isn't Christianity.

You're conflicted April. The puritans absolutely were Christians. The religion has had many different interpretations as evidenced by the myriad number of Christian religions--it also explains why the founders didn't want to open the can of worms of endorsing one religion over any of the others.

They may have been Christians (possibly) but that had to do with capital punishment in the government not Christianity.

Countries can not be passive about the establishment of Islam.
They have to be proactive in the protection of their cultures.
Their ideological goal is to erase all other religions and establish their caliphate and to force everyone to live under their sharia laws.
Hate and violence are a feature of their culture.
Islam is a genocidal cult.
How many mass murder atrocities do you have to witness before you understand that "islamaphobia" is propaganda?

For it says that we are one nation under God not one nation under Allah. The United States of America was founded as a Christian nation not Islamic.

Do you know anything about the history of the Pledge of Allegiance?

Like the original text of the Pledge?

"I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Or how about... it was written by Francis Bellamy (allegedly), a Baptist minister and Christian socialist... he considered using the words equality and fraternity, because you know... socialist.

And "...under GOD" was added because a lot of Americans wanted to separate U.S. from the atheism promoted by communist countries. That's it. And according to his great-granddaughter, Bellamy would not have approved of the addition because of his firm belief in the separation of church and state...

By the way... "Allah" is the Arabic word for "GOD".

My, my, my---what a conundrum for you. Twisting yourself into a pretzel to justify murder. Capital punishment, like abortion or the intentional taking of any other's life is murder.

How is taking the life of an innocent baby and somebody who is trying to kill you the same thing?

No, it's not.

Wow, we actually agree for once.

By the way... "Allah" is the Arabic word for "GOD".

That maybe so but they aren't the same God.
