ICE agent being railroad by MN Courts

But frankly I’m really bored with this topic right now

There is much bigger news in the middle east
Then simply shut the hell up and go away

Of course they can

What a stupid thing to say
You let me know when this ICE agent is actually in jail. They can orchestrate a melodrama and apprehend and other typical front page dog and pony show but they don’t have the authority to incarcerate a federal agent

it is not the courts. It is the prosecutor.

If the allegations are true, and absent some other information about why it was done if it was done, I hate to say it. But the charges may be appropriate.

I do wonder if the charges are well grounded, though.

OK I blamed Courts too early. Whars' the dismissal?

Oh-oh you say it's appropriate? I skipped over this post this morning im my hatred of Courts letting real criminals go free but normal people to jail. Yes, I stay angry a lot.

The court involvement, so far, at least as I see it, remains the signing of an arrest warrant.

Courts don’t get to dismiss cases before the charges are even filed.

You’re allowed to be angry.

in defense of some judges or courts in some cases, I feel compelled to note that the initial reporting of a judge giving a “lenient” sentence to some convicted defendant is often poor reporting,

Like where state law allows for say an 8 year sentence but the judge hands down a lower sentence. What is frequently left out of the reporting are things like how long it took to bring the case to trial — sometimes five or more years while the accused sits in jail awaiting trial. That’s time that must be credited. Further, some States also provide a mandated additional credit of (for instance) one day off the sentence for every seven days of incarceration for “good time.” That’s an incentive for inmates to behave.

After the pretrial delays of jailed defendants and after “good time” credit, a judge’s sentence of “only” a period of parole or probation isn’t always just judicial softness on crime. Judges are duty bound to comply with those laws. The result can be, immediate release.

This case is so bad it wont hold up. The police do have the right to drive in the shoulder. The car cut him off aggressively to obstruct him. Thats an imminent threat of serious bodily injury or death. He had every right o draw his weapon and point it at them. Case dismissed

So I’ve heard stories that he was driving on the sidewalk thus endangering others but was he really driving on the shoulder which is permissible for a low speed short distance.
Which is it ?

Have these thugs point a gun at your head and tell us how you’d feel about that.
That would never happen, because I wouldn’t be out there trying to obstruct them. I want them to get rid of the illegals.
