I get the egg folds, which is kind of like an omelet... and then I also get the JUST egg liquid, which makes scrambled "eggs".....It tastes pretty much identical to eggs, but I'm not paying for baby male chicks to be shredded alive and other disgusting practices. I haven't tried any others, because I'm happy with those.

At my high point i had somewhere south of 100 layers.....and let me tell you it's a chore keeping that amount of ladies happy

and i had eggs, my neighbors had eggs, anyone who visited left with eggs, and we ate eggs, and when we got sick of eggs, we had more eggs

I made the mistake of placing an 'organic eggs' ad in the local rag, subsequently having to field a lot of 'did they vote for Hillary" calls at the time.....

The main reason eggs went up so much was becaus of bird fllu. 20 Million more had to be destroyed in the last quarter of 2024. Less chickens equals less eggs. The demand for them is still there so the price skyrockets. Too many fools believed it was all Biden's fault somehow. They shouldn't listen to trump.

What America and Europe needs is a small business friendly environment and in the case of farmers actual tax dollar support.

Farmers leverage millions of dollars to gain a middle income lifestyle.
That's farming.
And why corporate giant farms are huge. Corporate giant farms also get Federal supports due to lobbying.

That sandwich bread in the grocery store is made of a special wheat that only the corporate giants have access to....which is also heavily subsidized by the US government. Any other wheat grown is not as subsidized. (Getting the picture?)

Corn grown for American ethanol production or corn syrup is also heavily subsidized. Soybeans usually don't have price supports unless grown for oil.

Feed corn, snack corn, oats, and rice? Nope....but usually these are contract crops. We don't raise sheep for wool...we grow cotton.

We need farmers yesterday....but they have been bankrupted.

We do not have the number of farmers that we used to. Used to be 1 out of 100 was a farmer but now it's closer to 1 out of a 10,000 farms. (Equipment has changed the manpower needs).

But the number of farmers has shrunk to the point of obsolescence. What are we going to do when there are no farmers except for corporate farms? Food is always processed or highly processed. And we are at the mercy of corporate giants for food.

Treating God's creation like garbage. That's what everyone is paying for when you buy eggs at the store. But even many "backyard chickens" come from hatcheries.
