I recall being suspicious of this at the time.

When you take a step back and look at his resume......... his history of sexual assaults, stealing money from a charity, orchestrating a subversion of the Constitution, pathological lying, bankruptcies, refusing to comply with a subpoena for stolen classified docs.........it's more than a little shocking anyone thought he was fit to be a dog catcher let alone the prez.
He won the popular vote and electoral college.

Ultimately, the president has the final authority on who he nominates and decides to share intelligence with, regardless of the established protocol set in the wake of World War II to make sure those selections don’t have unknown foreign ties or other issues that could raise national security concerns.

But circumventing background checks would be bucking a long-established norm in Washington. It also reflects Trump’s deep mistrust of the national security establishment, which he derides as the Deep State. Sources say he has privately questioned the need for law enforcement background checks.

The need is self-evident. But not when you think like a criminal.

People knew exactly what they were voting for and against.
Yes, against inflation and for someone they thought could fix it (Ooops) despite his moral, legal, and ethical shortcomings.

Given his track record for over 50 years, I wouldn't trust him to deliver a pizza.
Check Joe's opinions on agendas for the fifty years he was so proud to serve us. He changed sides on near everything that occurred during his tenure. Trust is a negotiation to the corrupted. Joe does not believe in anything he does. You can see that with many in the D.C. bandwagon.

FBI Director Kash Patel was briefed on the investigation soon after being confirmed for his post, according to the two sources. Both Patel and Bove registered their displeasure with the investigation and the case stalled out, without taking any more formal investigative steps.

Meaning they were not pleased Homan's acceptance of a bribe was being scrutinized. After all, legal/ethical behavior is not a measuring stick for membership in the regime. Sycophancy is all that matters and Tom certainly passed that test.

Their displeasure was Biden investigating Homan for something he could not deliver because the election hadn't happened and he was not a government employee.

Both parties are packed with more shit than a Thanksgiving turkey.
Grifters, thieves, conmen, and traitors.
Biden is a kid ******, and Trump is a terminal narcissist.
Pick your poison, I guess.

Don't forget removing illegal aliens, energy independence and lowering the cost of eggs
Clearly the price of eggs took precedence over his history of sexual assaults, stealing money from a charity, orchestrating a subversion of the Constitution, pathological lying, bankruptcies, and refusing to comply with a subpoena for stolen classified docs.

Joe would deliver my pizza intact.
Donnie would eat half, then blame the dog.

Hunter was a distinguished artist
Better than Picasso
Who's "art" stopped selling the instant dear old dad was no longer president.

Gee, I wonder why....

Their displeasure was Homan being investigated for taking a bribe. You can't spin doctor that away.

15th post
Nothing in our history compares with the rampant illegality of this regime.

GFY

Hear Yee! Hear Yee!

BERG80--PRO 'KID ******'

Interesting, dare I say, radical choice, Berg.
Do you know JoeB131? He is very pro-Chairman Mao, another radical stance. You two might hit it off.

People knew exactly what they were voting for and against. So did the overwhelming EC vote
You knew you were voting for corruption?

I think most people just wanted prices to go down and are sorely disappointed.
