I knew this would go badly.....Trump slams Rep. Cuellar for running again as a Democrat after pardon

Feels like Trump is basically admitting his pardons are part of a quid pro quo.
They always will be, everyone should know that in advance. I'd be surprised if anyone thought differently.

We all know that Don is a conman and grifter, but only those outside the cult can say so.

A lot of democrats dislike Cuellar. I worked with a flaming liberal electrician of Mexican descent in the early 2000s and he called Cuellar a 'pocho' Roughly translated, it is a Mexican who forgot where he came from.
Is Trump pissing & moaning because Cuellar went in dry? :abgg2q.jpg:

In case you liberals/Democrats haven't noticed, your compatriots have declared war on everyone who is a non-liberal or non-Democrat. We are at war. Trump should do everything he can to stop the Democrat insurrectionists
Please clarify how that relates to pardons?

Meh? IDGAF. How's that hypocrisy working for you? You're all for pardoning one criminal that is going to steal from taxpayers but you're completely opposed to pardoning another criminal that will probably be dealt with more severely in his own country at no expense to American taxpayers. LMFAO.

why stop at one?

they ALL do it.

The problem with the whole ''they all do it'' line is that this line is most often invoked to solicit the illusion of justification and acceptance/legitimacy of it.

Same thing applies whenever we see the red blips say ''well you didn't complain or say anything when the blue blips did it'' or whenever we see the blue blips say ''well you didn't complain or say anything when the red blips did it.''

''It'' being whatever the corruption, malfeasance or whatever other nutsackery of the day might be on the table for debate.

That, unfortunately, is the shallow mentality with which we're faced when dealing with this modern, programmed electorate.

shallow?

pointing out the system needs changed, updated, is shallow?

President Trump slammed Rep. Henry Cuellar on Sunday for what he called "a lack of loyalty" because the Democratic congressman announced his plans to run again as a Democrat, rather than switch to the Republican party, in his next bid to represent Texas in the U.S. House.

In a social media post, Mr. Trump suggested that he may have expected Cuellar to help Republicans maintain their slim majority in the House during the 2026 midterm elections after the congressman was granted clemency.

Trump recently pardoned him and his wife, Imelda Cuellar, who were both indicted last year on federal bribery charges. Their two daughters, Christina and Catherine, had sent Mr. Trump a letter in November asking that he pardon their parents.

The president claimed the allegations against them resulted from political targeting by the Justice Department under former President Joe Biden, writing in multiple Truth Social posts about attacks on Cuellar from within the Democratic Party over his views on immigration and border security.

I mean, what did Trump think was going to happen? :eusa_wall:

Never-ever trust a dem not to (figuratively) shank you in the ribs after they are cut a break.

I sure did not vote for that particular pardon.

1. I don't buy it for a second.

Trump is simply promoting Cuellar, because as a Republican Cuellar has NO CHANCE.

Remember what happened to Adams? Trump tried to get his own NYC mayor by corruptly dismissing his criminal case, but in doing so he tainted Adams for Democrat voters and he was soundly rejected.

This time around he is trying to keep Cuellar popular enough among Democrats for him to actually have a chance at getting back into office. Nothing does that better than a dog and pony show about Cuellar supposedly standing up to Trump.

2. What the **** is wrong with you?

Trump is directly admitting to corrupt abuse of his office and perversion of the justice system for electoral gain and all you could think to complain about....is criminal not being loyal enough to corruptly return favors? :slap:

At what point do you idiots start to notice blatant corruption right in front of your nose? Do you not get that it's highly damaging for America?
