It's nothing new on this forum. None of you republicans can actually defend anything. And it's not even your fault, it's your own President that is setting you up to not be able to defend anything. He really fucked you guys over because it's not defendable. As per my previous comment, they told you to be outraged for how long over Hunter Biden's laptop? And what, now you're just supposed to ignore the whole Zhao thing? You can't even argue that this is something that Presidents have always done because Trump is not even giving you any kind of way to defend that point. But yet you all try to defend him anyway.

I've never heard of a "straight arrow" Democrat. But I'm having trouble finding a "straight arrow" Republican as well. Thomas Massie and Rand Paul are the only two names that come to mind.

Lets get real, if a Democrat was doing HALF the crazy shit Trump is up to you'd be blowing your gasket.

But just as as a mental excercise, take a hypothetical and see if you can answer:

Would you rather vote for a criminal Republican than a straight arrow Democrat?

Do you really think I was happy with the Biden or Obama administrations? Get real. We all had to sit there and dismantle America one little piece at a time. It was a "Chinese Water Torture" for 12 years of our lives. They're partly why I voted for Trump. Unfortunately, the torture continues and probably will for the rest of or lives regardless of who installed into the Presidency.

I'm glad you called your question "hypothetical" because that's what it is. To be a Democrat, you MUST adhere to Socialist policies. Therefore, a Democrat can NEVER be considered "straight arrow." That's oxymoronic.
